This photo is from my family's collection. This was the opening of a bridge across the Missouri River in Jefferson City. The gentleman fifth from left wearing the top hat was the mayor of Jefferson City. He was also my great grandfather. I've always admired the collection of hats being worn by the individuals lined up for the photo.

Pork Steaks Tonight

Tonight was a good opportunity to get some smoke on a pair of pork steaks.

The local symphony hires me to play for their pops concerts. I typically bring my Gretsch for these gigs.

The Missouri Symphony’s spring pops concert is tonight. Every time I get to sit on stage here at the Missouri Theater and look out at the house, I’m reminded how fortunate we are here in Columbia that this beautiful venue has been restored and is being regularly used.
