Hey all. I’m looking for a long-term, closer online connection where we actually care about each other.

I’m a writer and a realist. I’m very disabled, neurodivergent, and homebound. I’m looking for someone who wants to stick around and build a genuine friendship.

It's hard talking to people who keep it light all the time. I need a friend who can hold space for real things and doesn't need me to be positive or hopeful about my circumstances. I’m looking for someone who can be real about how difficult life can be but also wants to hang out and talk about things that make life more bearable.

I’m left-leaning and need friends who are similar and LGBTQIA+ friendly. I love talking about music, TV, writing, art, and cozy gaming, etc. but I want to talk about those things as a way to actually connect, not just as a checklist of hobbies. I enjoy exchanging creative work and making people playlists.

I’m looking for someone who asks questions, engages mutually, and actually wants to support each other through the reality of our lives.

I'm 37NB and a poet, though I have also published essays and I've written novels and a memoir. I'm currently working on my first full length poetry book.

I'd really love to make some friends who are also writers. I can't do a ton of critique because I'm very disabled and chronically ill. It impacts my ability to talk and type normally so I can't do a lot of editing but I'm happy to read a bit and give some general thoughts. Looking for the same.
