would anyone be willing to take a look at my book for free and leave a review?
Hey, I'm a teen author who just published my first book about a month ago. I've been struggling to gain any publicity or traction. If anyone is interested, I'd love to share the doc with you if you'd be willing to leave a review (on either Amazon or Goodreads). Even if you don't, I hope you have a splendid day!
Looking for two way collaboration critique partner/group
Hello looking for people to help me in my works to refine, push back and talk about not only mine work but yours as well! I will make sure to read your writing and give thoughtful and analytical critique without being judgmental
Currently working on a Romcom set in 1060 Iberia (where spain and portugal are!)
Hopeful as well to talk about writing techniques, books, ideas and characters!
My plan is to create a small tight knit group in Discord, also only accepting 18+ people to ensure a safe space for everyone
Ghost looking for my planchettist (character monologue)
[NSFW themes follow]
[I start almost every one of my character monologues with "hi girls." You can think of it as world's worst tradition. Rest assured, in friendship I do not discriminate by gender.]
Hi girls.
It’s been a while since one of you has tried to communicate with me. So I’m genuinely not fussed if your form is dark oak, or pine, or plastic forged with the sweat of Chinese slaves.
I am desperate.
Not because I am physically alone. I am surrounded by “ghost pals,” but these beings know nothing of my strife. Bizarrely content in their form, they glide through me with no social awareness, then act surprised when I don’t show up to the next Spooky Sunday.
It's not like I meet anyone deathly interesting there anyway. Yippee another insufferable incubus who murdered someone 500 years ago and proceeded to make it their whole personality. Can't wait to brush presences with the daemon who lives in the attic, content to live out his days inflicting minor jump scares upon pseudo documentary crews.
Last night I presented some of these 'ghost hunters' with definitive proof of my existence, but they couldn't have been less interested. Apparently, to win the admiration of such glorified ghoul ganderers, one must have choked an elderly realtor in Switzerland; or perhaps, apropos of nothing, I should seek to possess the form of your late grandmother's creaky rocking chair, because?? reasons??? No—all I bring to the living world are nonsensical monologues that are just a bunch of words, and the occasional unprompted Zibaldone.
Please don’t mistake my frustration for ingratitude; I was delighted to be given the opportunity to become a ghost, and certainly don’t take it for granted. I would never use my powers to tepidly move a pen across your desk for no fucking reason, nor waste my energy opening doors when no one is in the vicinity, nor indulge in any of the countless other "fun" activities rampant in the ghost community—all of which serve no purpose besides the upholding of otiose tradition.
I am tired.
Let me talk with you, one letter at a time. Cast thy fingers upon thy planchette. I will do my best to be succinct so as not to cause you undue repetitive strain. For you, our conversation will be arduous, exhausting—but you’ll never know a more grateful ghost.

Disabled poet looking for friends
I'm 37NB and a poet, though I have also published essays and I've written novels and a memoir. I'm currently working on my first full length poetry book.
I'd really love to make some friends who are also writers. I can't do a ton of critique because I'm very disabled and chronically ill. It impacts my ability to talk and type normally so I can't do a lot of editing but I'm happy to read a bit and give some general thoughts. Looking for the same.
I'm also happy just to chat with people and talk about writing in general or life, music, TV. Whatever we end up talking about.
I am very left leaning and queer. Please be LGBTQIA+ friendly. And I appreciate when people are sensitive and empathetic around my disabilities, and if they're not sure what to say, I'm always happy to give feedback on that. Thanks!

Looking to team up to write the wanderings, ponderings and other whereabouts of a mildly important wizard, as a new age encroaches upon an old world.
40F here seeking friends!
Hello all! I'm 40, and have been writing since I was 14, but kept a lot of my stuff private. I am now working on a book and will become a professional author soon.
I love reading and writing and love interacting with those who share similar interests. I do this all the time and would love to chat with someone regularly who is equally passionate about it.
I can read and write about all sorts of things, as long as there isn't too much...of certain content.
I wouldn't even mind a project partner too.
Please, introduce yourself in a DM. Say more than "hey!" Thanks!! I'm looking forward to meeting you!
My time zone is PST, in case you are curious.
