Please help in this regard, what should I do next?
So I was in an urgent need of a new phone, so just researched for 10-15 mins and purchased the Samsung M36. My preference was going with Samsung only. I received the phone yesterday 7:30pm, while setting up got to know that the wifi module of the device is faculty, not even showing any wifi networks, same with the bluetooth. Had a word with flipkart customer support instantly, they said u need to take it to company service centre only... We cannot do anything... I even visited the centre just then, but came to know they close by 7pm... And now today is a Sunday, I am really worried and frustrated at the same time, can anyone help me in returning or getting a replacement.
I left home around 12:40 PM today and drove to college, where I parked my car properly under a shed. When I returned, I noticed that the left side of my car had been heavily scratched. I checked the car parked next to mine, but it had no damage, so I couldn’t figure out what caused it.
After getting home and thinking it through, I realized it might have actually happened in my society parking. There’s a bike parked close to my car, and it’s possible that it fell onto my car and caused the dent.
I tried checking for CCTV footage near my college parking area and in my society, but unfortunately, none of the cameras covered my parking spot. I’m really confused about what to do next. I only got this car in January, so it’s quite upsetting that someone caused this damage and didn’t take responsibility.
Can you guys please help me out in this regard??
So, I am a third year engineering student from a tier2.5ish college... My portfolio is completely in AI and ML. I have worked with some of the largest indian organisations. Built systems that are actively being used in the company, not demo projects...
So recently my ex-manager from an internship switched, and he contacted me for an internship and asked me to apply. The company was good, US based, On-Site in Hyderabad, US working hours, great learning environment, everything looked good... I had around 6 rounds of interviews, cracked em all..
Finally received the offer, negotiated the joining and the hybrid setup coz my end sems are coming up. So the final negotiation was, INR 60k+ approx stipend, will work remotely till my exams, and during summer breaks will continue in Hyderabad, and post that during my 7th sem will again do remote till November and then will be given a full time position of 15-16LPA.
But merko pataa nhi kya lagaa, i thought if I start now and I have to go to college as well, and do preparation for my endsems, CGPA bhi improve karni hai, and they wanted me to start immediately like from 20th April itself so I refused it...saying ki I discussed with my mentors and parents but I cannot start before 25th May😭😭
Although I have 2 more offers that too from good companies and good pay....but this was paying the highest... 😭😭but one advantage is that I have those offers in remote setting, and workload will be lesser can focus on other stuff like projects and placement prep.... Although still looking for better opportunities paying similar or higher than that....
Also focusing on endsems, and preparing for some comp exams...
Edit (adding my comment here as well) - For all those asking for resumes, bros, resumes do make a difference, but what matters more is your network, the right way to build your corporate relations, and most importantly how well is your expertise in your domain.... Trust me i have worked my ass off, like sitting and grinding my skills, sleeping 3-4hrs a day and such for an year, doing 2 simultaneous degrees, leading my clg council, only then it made my resume stand out, I started getting these multiple offers just in the last few months, before that I was decent, but not that crazy, that I start getting 3-4 offers simultaneously.... That is it... Just work your ass off, build your concepts, work on a billion different projects.... I have now got into such a mindset, that even for a basic small experiment in college, I am building a whole ass application, when it was not even required, I could have just submitted my friends write-up changing my roll no on it, but I decided to build on a new idea which added to my projects... So yeah that is what it is...
Proof to this above edit - read my 4 month old post, about me not deserving to smile...🫠
