Id imagine it would take some time to actually purify the water in it for balance reasons. Maybe having diminishing returns and two bars, one for purified, one for dirty water, a full bar of dirty water would only get you like 25% of clean water
Idk, just a nice thing to have instead of going back and fourth to your base to get clean water or scavenging every sink and water cooler you can find.
Id imagine it would take similar materials to the water filter but with a canteen as a base. But it would be like mid to late game to get it.

Do i still wish i kept drawing despite being bullied out of it in kindergarten? yeah. I do think drawing things yourself lets you get a little closer to the idea you have in your head then if you tried explaining it to an AI (or even an actual artist for that matter) but im still happy for those who use so they can finally get what they have in their head somewhere onto the screen, for no other reason if not it just makes it easier to get what your thinking across.
as someone whos an aspiring writer, yeah ill still commission a real artist just because 1: the one i mainly work with i find works well with me (most dont bother to give updates on progress, in case you want any adjustments, they just spit out the image closest to the references you give them and call it a day with payment already in hand) and 2: i like his style and want to support him (i do want to support artists, its mainly just the hypocrisy i find extremely irritating)
but like... where was all the outrage when AI was writing scripts or generated adventure games or whatever else?
yeah people would joke that a movies so bad it sounds like it was written with AI but nobody actively hunted for it that i saw.
and remember back when everyone was praying for machines to come along and make life simpler for us so we wouldnt have to do all the shitty jobs and instead could focus on our passions and hobbies? that sure turned around quick once people learned that kinda world doesnt happen over night and is gonna require some SERIOUS growing pains in terms of job loss
idk man, personally i believe AI should be used more so as a tool then the end product, but if someone wants to use it entirely? go nuts. have fun. do what makes you happy. if you make something yourself but use AI just to get the thumbnail art or something for a mod? people will still rip you apart despite working on the mod or game itself, god forbid you put your time into learning how to do that shit opposed to drawing. 'stealing' someones artstyle, using their work as reference, etc etc, these sorts of things never seem to be a problem till an AI does it. thats what i loathe about the whole "AI steals!" argument

stop changing them back to positive whenever arrowhead shows a even a flicker of improvment.
this is how it always goes, Arrowhead royally fucks up, the community review bomb them, then they make some minor improvments and everything goes back to normal, rinse and repeat.

enough of the one step forward, two steps back bs. dont even bother changing it back to positive unless we get at the very least three consecutive MAJOR updates without shit turning sour. this cycle isnt going to stop unless people show arrowhead that we arent going to be the abused spouse that comes back everytime their abusive S/O says that they've "changed this time for real, I promise"
till they get their heads out of their asses, just keep your review negative. thats what ive been doing. I cant even participate in the current review bomb because I never bothered to switch it back to positive from the last time they fucked up back in october of last year. show them that while we WANT to love their game, we arent going to blindly throw our trust at them again and again and again.
make them earn it. and i mean really, REALLY earn it.
