Hi everyone,
I’m working on a college assignment where I need to design a sticker that delivers a strong “don’t waste food” message. I’m looking for impactful, disturbing, or emotionally striking artworks that depict famine or starvation.
I’m particularly drawn to styles similar to Chittoprasad Bhattacharya, but I’m open to any artist, medium, or period as long as the visual hits hard and communicates the gravity of the issue.
If possible, please share:
The artwork (image or link)
Artist name
Context or background (if known)
Appreciate any recommendations—looking for something that leaves a lasting impression.
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I’m currently a 2nd semester BTech student in Mathematics and Computing, and I’m trying to explore internship opportunities early on.
My situation is a bit unique — my father has some connections within Jindal Steel, but he doesn’t really have clarity on internship opportunities, hiring processes, or who exactly to approach. I don’t want to waste that opportunity by going in unprepared or asking the wrong questions.
So I’m trying to be strategic before he reaches out.
Here’s what I’m looking for guidance on:
- What kind of internships (if any) does Jindal Steel typically offer for early-year students (1st/2nd year)?
- What roles would even make sense for someone with a Maths & Computing background in a company like this?
- What specific information should I gather before asking my father to connect me with someone internally?
- How do I identify the right person/department to speak to (HR vs technical team vs plant-level contacts)?
- Is it better to reach out cold via LinkedIn/email first before involving my father’s connections?
- What’s the best way to approach someone inside the company without sounding entitled just because I have a reference?
I want to approach this professionally and add value, not just rely on “connections”.
Any advice from people who’ve navigated something similar, especially in large industrial companies, would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance.
