Mum duck in the Royal Tasmanian Botanic Gardens wasn’t letting anyone near her ducklings 😭

Another duck got a bit too close and she immediately went into full bodyguard mode. The ducklings just sat there watching the drama unfold like tiny security guards 😂

Australia really said “let’s put velociraptors in the rainforest

Up close, cassowary feet look less like a bird and more like something from the dinosaur era. Those claws are no joke either, which is why they’re considered the most dangerous bird on Earth. This is my original content (O.C)

The feet on a cassowary are genuinely terrifying up close

Cassowaries are considered the most dangerous bird on Earth, and seeing those dagger-like claws in person makes it pretty obvious why. One kick from these things could do serious damage.

The strength of these reptiles is actually insane

The way the pole bends like that really puts into perspective how powerful crocodiles are. One quick pull and you’re suddenly questioning every life decision.

My ragdoll after a long exhausting day of doing absolutely nothing

The way he gets comfortable in bed like he just finished a 12 hour construction shift. 😭

Close-up of a bee

People forget how important bees really are.
They pollinate a huge amount of the food we eat and help entire ecosystems survive. Tiny insect, massive impact. 🐝

Rent in Adelaide so bad even the redbacks are moving into the walls

Went outside and spotted this redback living rent free in the brick wall. At this point I think the spider owns the property and I’m just a guest. Australia never disappoints. 🕷️🇦🇺

Caught this absolute unit launching out of the water 😳🐊

The speed and power these things have is honestly insane. One second it was underwater, next second it was airborne trying to snap up food like a missile. Never gets old watching crocodiles do crocodile things

Jumping spiders really move like they just drank 4 coffees 😭🕷️

One second he’s standing still… next second he’s halfway across the planet 💀

POV: you wake up and Australia is already outside waiting for you 🦘☀️

Meanwhile the rest of the world wakes up to pigeons… we wake up to kangaroos chilling in the front yard 😭🇦🇺

One wrong decision and I was losing a couple fingers 😭🦜

Mum’s macaw looked friendly until I got a bit too confident with the hand placement 💀
That beak is basically bolt cutters with feathers.

Skull from a 5.4 metre crocodile found in Northern Australia

The size of these old saltwater crocodiles is honestly hard to comprehend in person.
