Crocodile spotted in washington state

The photo was taken near Tacoma in a small pond. The pond is located in a small stretch of greenspace between an industrial area and a residential area. If anyone has any idea what species it may be or size estimate, that would be great. I will be going tomorrow to try and get better pictures and videos. Obviously, this thing was dumped there by someone, but it should really be removed. Animal control and WDFW were contacted but did not act to remove or capture.

Scientists have confirmed that several species of crocodilians are capable of climbing trees as long as the branch is wide enough.

The strength of these reptiles is actually insane

The way the pole bends like that really puts into perspective how powerful crocodiles are. One quick pull and you’re suddenly questioning every life decision.

Who Called the Gator Cops? 🐊🚨😂

Only in Florida do you casually drive past a trailer labeled LIVE ALLIGATORS like it’s an Amazon delivery.

POV: The HOA finally got tired of the neighborhood gator attending morning meetings uninvited. 😂🐊

Caught this absolute unit launching out of the water 😳🐊

The speed and power these things have is honestly insane. One second it was underwater, next second it was airborne trying to snap up food like a missile. Never gets old watching crocodiles do crocodile things

Why don’t we see more crocodile videos more often? Especially videos of huge crocodiles like Nile and saltwater crocodiles. Are they actually very rare?

Alligators Bellowing

Have you ever heard alligators bellow?

Yesterday, I spent 3 hours showing the rookery (details) to a family member, in the rain.

During a break in the rain, two of the alligators went right up to the bank and did some bellowing.

Then, they may have taken steps to perpetuate their species. Or maybe they were just cuddling. I'm not sure.

The Orinoco and American crocodiles can be both found in Colombia and Venezuela, with Orinoco crocodiles being endemic to The Llanos of Colombia and Venezuela. Crocodylus intermedius is considered the third largest crocodile alive today while Crocodylus acutus is considered the fourth largest and alongside the Cuban and Morelet's crocodile they form a closely related clade of American Crocodylus which descend from an extinct type of crocodile that migrated from Africa.
