Shoutout to everyone for the tips the other day. I decided to keep the Small Fondant Andiamo and wait for a dark colored leather Giorno at a later date. Added a cat charm and my initials that just came today. Getting the initials clipped on the bags might be one of the most difficult things I have ever done. I also worry that it will damage the leather… Good thing there is a lifetime warranty on the Andiamo!

Man this things is HEAVY! You can definitely feel the weight of the beads on the bag. It’s very cute. It has a bit of a scent to it, like it’s new but almost like when you open a bathing suit fresh out of the packaging. A bit of a chemical scent. The charm is also very heavy and definitely feels bigger than any of my Loewe charms. The packaging/dust bag is quite cool. Not quite plastic but not fabric either. Almost like a soft paper. I am 5’5.5” for reference. Still want to get a loafer bag. If you’ve tried JWA before I would love to hear your thoughts!

Hi Friends, just like everyone and their mom, I have had my eye on an Andiamo in fondant forever. I knew I liked the Small size but I had never pulled the trigger. This past weekend while traveling I popped into Bottega to try on the new Mini size to compare. I immediately ruled it out as I thought it would be too small for my needs (but I thought you guys would want to see the size comparison on me - I am 5’5.5” for reference).

So then, my dilemma. The SA pulled out the gorgeous new Giorno bag and I immediately fell in love with it. I love holding it and it looks so great in fondant also. The other available colors are suede and I’m not sure that works and have heard others say the quality of Bottega’s suede is not as good. I ended up leaving with the Small Andiamo in Fondant. But I’m wondering if I made the right decision. Now that I have her home I am questioning if I should have got the Giorno. And maybe get the Andiamo in a different color… like Midnight. I have always wanted a navy bag from Bottega. But the SA said there were very few Midnights left in the country.

One of the deciding factors was that the Andiamo has a lifetime warranty and the Giorno, being new, only has a 2 year warranty right now. Would love to hear your guys thoughts if you have either of the bags. Thanks!
