Recently scored my 3rd QB! B25 Etoupe PHW.

This is technically my 2nd QB at my home store since I secured a QB in Paris last Summer.

Totally obsessed with this combo—she was well worth the wait. My first Birkin was a B30, but after comparing sizes, I think 25s might be the way to go for me.

Super happy with how my collection is coming along.

Thinking it’s time to add a pop of color… maybe a Mini K or another B25 is up next on the wishlist! ✨🤩

Please help me make my decision once and for all!

I recently purchased a black Birkin Togo with palladium hardware in sizes 25 and 30 and I’m torn with which one I should keep and which one I should resell.

Here are my thoughts on the 25: love the size. I don’t carry much around so the 25 seems perfect for every day use. I worry the size is super trendy and it is tight on my wrist. I feel like

It’s super versatile and Can be worn in the day and at night.

Here are my thoughts on the 30: classic size and can fit tons of crap! (Even though I only carry around car keys, wallet, mirror, chapstick and gum) I worry it looks and feels more like a piece of luggage. I’m not used to bigger bags (this bag is larger than most in my collection)

I’m 5’7 and 135lbs and have attached a photo for reference holding both.

For those of you who have had the same dilemma- what helped you make your decision when selecting a 25 vs a 30?

I had never seen a Kelly Marqueterie before!! I saw this one today in Milano at the Montenapoleone boutique!!!

Super happy to have added a Picotin 18 to my bag collection (and start off my Hermes bag collection with it) last month! Surprisingly, I did not previously like the Picotin, but one day, it just kind of grew on me.

I knew I wanted gold with gold hardware, and lucked out with an amazing SA who was watching my store’s shipments being unpacked like a hawk. My SA was able set it aside for me. Only 2 Picotins had gold hardware in that shipment and it was mine and an Etoupe 18 that my SA also happened to be looking out for for another client.

I’m normally a very neutral person when it comes to bags and shoes, but could not resist a pop of color with the Orans in Rose Bonbon, and the C’est La Fete Twilly in Rose Bonbon/Orange/Rouge.🌷

I saw a post a while back where someone was looking for a gold on gold Picotin, and wanted to share my timeline on how long it took me to get mine as a new in-store client (US based).

For context, I don’t live super close to my store, and have mostly shopped online for shoes/belts/silk, so I submitted an online appointment request and was matched with my SA. This was the week after Valentine’s Day, and 2 days before an in-store fashion show, so they had actually sold out of most of their bags. After double checking to see if there were any Picotins left in the back (I was also open to a 22) and coming up empty, my SA showed me an In the Loop 18 so I could get a better feel for size, and recommended the 18 for my body frame. After taking down a note of my desired color combo, I got the call that a gold/gold had arrived and picked up my bag just 2.5 weeks later.

My SA was impressed that the store got a gold/gold in so quickly from when I stopped in, and so was I. When I picked up the bag, it came up in conversation that Mother’s Day is like my store’s Super Bowl (just as crazy as Christmas), so for anyone planning ahead and looking to treat yourself, or the mom(s) in your life to an NQB, this is your reminder that Mother’s Day is coming up quicker than you think. 😉

I did also sign up for a bag service in February, and after looking at historical data, was optimistic that March-May might be good months to snag a gold/gold online. Ultimately ended up getting my bag faster through the store, as the first gold/gold on the US site dropped 4/3 (though there were several drops of gold/phw in 2026).

For those in AU, look at these Hermès bags up for grabs right now. Literelly been sitting there for a while (I have been stalking the website for some time now, lol). This definitely doesn’t look normal to me. Usually, there are only a few listed, and many are already unavailable.

Is no one interested?!

I recently bought an Hermes watch with a pearl grey croc strap and now I’m tempted to pair it with a Birkin 30 in a similar color and texture. I've never really considered a croc bag, but why not?

I’m torn between going full croc, getting a “touch” Birkin (for a bit more durability), or keeping it simple and just getting Togo with RGHW. My watch is RG.

If I go with either full croc or touch, I wonder if going resale is the better route. A full croc B30 in pristine condition is about 38k, touch would be about 33k. I understand that a full croc retail is about 50k. I don't mind pre-loved at all. I have a few trusted resellers who I have successfully purchased from, so if I can save some money on a bag which will not be used on a daily basis, I'm all for it.

My watch is stunning, and I love the idea of tying in some croc without overdoing it.

What would you choose? Full croc, touch, or Togo? Would you go resale or buy from the store?

Finally found this twilly in Asia since it’s sold out in US! Details of twilly in second picture.

My husband went to Hermes and made our first purchase ever at Hermes for a gold Evelyne 16. I love the bag! But the strap is too short. It doesn’t work as a cross body.

I got the tape measure out and measured 35.75 inches (about 90 cm). I am confused because everything online mentions the longer strap (115 cm). And even the Amazone descriptions online mention a different color strap and this one is solid brown (gold). Did I get the wrong strap with the purse? Should I keep or return (which would be sad since I love the purse just not the strap). Thoughts?
