I thrifted this and I don’t know if it is a great score. But I still think it’s cute and great. The leather is supple and the lining is lambskin. I thrifted this for only $20!

Thank you to this community for helping me pick the perfect color for my large andiamo. I've been looking for a travel bag that is chic and professional taking me from plane to office. I'm in love with the rich, dark barolo color. She's special and interesting but surprisingly neutral too! I can't wait for her to get slouching and soft. The last photo is the color in direct sunlight. 🩷

Bought a brand new Bottega Andiamo Pouch on Chain from Mitsukoshi Ginza in April — I was so excited that I paid for it without inspecting it first! And then I noticed signs of wear and tear after leaving Japan. Has anyone experienced this?

The problems I found:
- Both bottom corners are scuffed and the leather finish is worn through
- The base of the bag is visibly creased and distorted — like it's been set down on hard surfaces repeatedly
- Edge stitching along the flap looks frayed
- Gold hardware has micro-scratches

I'm pretty sure I was sold a display piece without being told. The wear is too consistent and widespread across multiple areas to be from just handling during the sale.

What I've done so far:
- Contacted BV global customer care via email with photos and my receipt
- They asked for a photo of the serial number but I don’t think it comes with it and I can’t find it anywhere. It doesn’t even come with a box.

My questions for the community:

  1. Has anyone been sold a display piece by BV or any other luxury brand without being informed?
  2. Has anyone successfully gotten an exchange or refund from BV for a similar issue, especially for an overseas purchase?
  3. Is this level of wear on corners and base something that can happen just from being a display piece, or does it suggest longer use?
  4. Any advice on how to handle BV customer care to get the best outcome?

Would really appreciate any advice or shared experiences — this is my first BV purchase and honestly feeling quite disheartened.

Thanks in advance 🙏

Recently I’ve been obsessed with Andiamo and doing research on this. I have tons of mini bags that can only fit my essentials so I’m determined to get a medium size bag, until I know Andiamo also just released the mini version and it’s hard to resist! I know the best is to try in person but the closest store is one hour from me and weekend always packed with other plans so I’m just wondering, for people who have tried/owned/saw them both what would you recommend? I’ve tried the small one on me years ago and it’s quite heavy for me so I’m hoping the mini one will be less heavy. Also based on all the videos I saw the mini seems to def fit more than my other tiny bags like LV nano speedy or Balenciago nano le city. I’m also torn if I need to wait for black Andiamo mini to release later since they only have fondant. Lots to think about but want all the opinions from you girls before spending 💸

For awhile, I wasn’t sure if I loved the Andiamo (definitely not enough to consider having multiple as I am now!)

I can’t get over how I much more I love this bag as I’ve used it! This is my medium andiamo after about 2.5 months of almost daily wear. It has developed such a pretty slouch. I love to stuff it because I love how drapey and effortless it looks when I do.

I have many beautiful bags (and other beautiful bottegas- a small and large hop and a teen Jodie), and every day I try other bags, I usually always come back to my andiamo. It’s just so easy. Fits the perfect amount of stuff for me, fits more than the perfect amount if needed, goes with everything, easy to find my things in, and I love wearing it either on my shoulder or by the top handle to show off the slouch. I told my husband that I want to collect andiamos the way that some people collect birkins 😂 never been a huge Birkin fan, but the andiamo.. that’s another story 😂

Can’t wait to get my hands on another medium, a mini, and the large!

I’ve been eying this bag for a minute now but there isnt much content or reviews on this bag

For anyone who has this how often do you wear it? What does it fit and any pictures are appreciated!!🩷

Hello everyone, I’m wondering what’s the purpose letting you open the clasp. My guess is to be able to remove the strap completely, but the knot is a main feature of the bag, so why would one do it? Maybe to be able to switch the colors? Or making manufacturing easier? Maybe the strap can be routed differently? I asked in the store and they didn’t know it open at all.

Thanks

I saw this on Instagram as part of the upcoming BV fall collection. I looooove this and hope it lives up in person. Also hoping it isn’t outrageously priced given BV’s latest prices…. Anyone happen to know the name?

Finally Pulled the Trigger on this beautiful Andiamo Messenger Bag in Medium 😭

After debating for months… I finally bought it in Tokyo Japan since it is much cheaper there and saved me almost 1k USD ☺️

Is this fake?

Assuming so as I cant find same item online! Also wasnt sure if it was some type of "free with perfume" item.
It was left with me from a neighbour. Thank you

Intrecciato tote

I saw these two intrecciato totes at the BV in Tokyo. I can’t decide between these two on which one to get, help please 🙏🏽

I've wanted the dustbag since I saw it because it seems like a very practical travel bag as it's basically a tote. I wanted the Barolo color officially but ever since they relased the new Dark Barolo, I am also so drawn to it.

Btw I currently have the Fondant Small Parachute and Black Concert Pouch. I absolutely love the Fondant color because it's just a step up black which is my comfort color. I feel like the Dark Barolo would be the same but they're not releasing the dustbag in that color. Do I wait or just go for the original Barolo that's more bright??! I'm getting impatient since I'd love to take the bag in my upcoming travels.

Question for those who have owned a suede bag for a time and wear it regularly: how has the material held up with proper care? (No rain or exposure to damaging substances, use of suede protector, etc.) I know that signs of wear are to be expected with any bag and especially with this material, but am curious to hear honest reviews of whether you find your bag has held up or you feel it wasn’t worth the cost. Thanks!!

Hi all! Just wondering if this bag is legit or not? I don’t have much experience in designer bags so hopefully someone can help out! Thank you

Hi, I’ve been wanting a Jodie teen size for SO long. Found one in thunder color pre-loved that I can return and feeling like it may be fake. Though the inner stamp and tag look good I’m questioning a smaller detail….When you got your BV bag new, was the little envelope of the care booklet sealed shut or just open?? (On this one the envelope had clearly been glued shut originally and opened by the previous owner.)
