I’m making a Tree of Life mandala, tips and tricks?

I’m making a Tree of Life mandala, tips and tricks?

I’m currently making one with Scheepjes Maxi Sugar Rush, using the suggested hook size. It’s a bit wobbly now but I don’t want to find out half way through that it stays that way after putting it in a ring haha.

So, will this work out? Also, do you have tips how to keep track? I’m now using a screenshot on my phone and use the photo editor to scribble off the made stitches.

New yarn stach is arriving tomorrow, I need more ideas!

I ordered some specific yarn to make 2 characters of One Piece for my husband and me, but I also ordered a *beep* load of other yarns.

- 3000 yards of undyed lace yarn (x3 because you can never have too much yarn haha)
- 14 x Scheepjes Maxi Rush (7 white, 7 mauve)
- 4 x Durable Knitting Cotton Nr. 12
- A whole load of linen yarn in 3 soft colors (wild guess: about 2000 yards of each color) probably for a 3mm hook

It was on sale so I couldn’t resist, also bought some very small Clover Soft Touch hooks (yay!).

I currently make a lot of blankets and mandalas but I thought of making some clothing for a change. Is that even possible with these types of yarn? Help! Haha

* Stash…

Let’s see if you can spice up my kitchen more than it already is with things I don’t have yet (or forgot to refill haha). I mostly cook Japanese, Korean and Indonesian if we’re talking about Asian cuisine. Help a girl out!

Have kids they said… My 16 yo teenager broke the shelve in my fridge door. I still have the part where you can put all your drinks in the door, but important pieces broke so I can’t easily put it back anymore. I was looking into buying a new shelve, but of course, this one is out of stock everywhere.

Who has a great idea how to fix this? It doesn’t need to be pretty but useful yes haha. It needs to be able to hold some weight due to bottles with liquids

So, Mother’s Day is nearly there (at least, it is here). And since I’m a mother and I love crochet, I want something for my hobby.

As all the gifts in my house, I buy them. Even if it’s for myself during Christmas, my birthday, etc. And don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind doing that. This way I’m sure I like the “gift” that I’m getting haha.

I just have no idea what to get myself and I have no price range in mind. So please, help me out and what is your best tool/gift/item you like to use for your crochet projects?
