Celtic festival continues
Some of you might have seen my post from a few days ago with a silly visual bug.
I forgot to post a follow-up. The party continues and more people showed up.

The ultimate bonus from Ceres, +300t storage capacity, had always been good, but not overpowered; certainly not the best of the ultimate bonuses. With the new expansion it became indirectly better, because it allows to store more goods for the vulcanic winter.
This is just an introduction to my actual story.
For the second vulcanic eruption in my new game, the first eruption was the "story" one, I was fully prepared. I had stores full of food, clothes and resources to make them. My storage capacity was at 750t. Right as the vulcano began to erupt it must've destroyed a vital bulding on Cinis, my main Ceres island, and thus lowered the Faith there by around 1000 points. That was enough to get Ceres below Minerva in global Faith points, thus making the latter my main patron. I lost 300t of storage on all islands in that single moment. 😞

The (randomly generated) name of my new island is very similar to an actual city in Wales.

It's not the same though.
Anyone here speaks fluent Welsh and knows what this name means? :-)
Or is it merely a play on the real name by the devs?
In my previous game this Albion quest festival was organised in the marshes.
I'm not sure whether this location is more convenient, but I'm impressed nonetheless. ;-)
Said cost scales not just with the size of an island, but also with the number of islands the player already possesses, right?
Does each sector has its own "inflation scale"? By that I mean whether acquiring a new island in Albion will increase the cost of following islands in Latium?
I tested the new expansion on my old game. I finished Caecilia's questline and got the general grasp of the new mechanics. It looks fun, so I decided to start a completely new game.
Cinis with its 18 mountain slots seems like a perfect island to worship Vulcan or at least that's how I felt on my old save. In my name game its only "mining fertilities" are.... Iron and Marble. Duh!
I'm considering restarting the whole game because of that. :-(
I haven't played the new expansion too much yet, but so far I've noticed that the new specialists only provide fertilities of various efficiency. They don't boost the production on islands that already have that fertility.
Do we later get ones that also provide actual bonuses to existing production chains?
I was hoping to finally have someone who could boost the bloody lavender.
