"You Should See a Gynecologist" -- But, I'm a cis-Male?

New PT told me during first meeting today that I should see a gynecologist. I said...that's for women though? I don't have a vagina. She said anyone can go see a gynecologist and that they are more knowledgeable about PFD. I gave pushback again and she looked so confused. Am I missing something? I never heard of a gyno treating a man.

PT Told Me Pelvic Wand Twice a Day

Met the new PT today. It was okay, but she told me to do stretches twice a day PLUS pelvic wand internally twice a day 5x a week. What do you all think of this? I worry that's a lot.

GEICO Removing Berkshire Hathaway Stock Options From 401(K)

Got this letter today. I am pissed. I left GEICO in 2020, and my stock has more than doubled since then in my Vanguard accounts. I planned on not saving it for retirement, but using it instead for a downpayment on a house. Now this. Admittedly, I can't wrap my mind around stocks and investment, as much as I try. So that this was done for me, and grown nicely since has been ideal. What can I do (explained simply) to ensure I can continue to grow my funds and maximize the return so that I can have a nice downpayment for a house in 10ish years?

Okay, I see that the contract for DC37 is up in November and there are no more raises so far until it is renegotiated. So, I started as a contract worker in 2023, moving to full time in 2025, and I got the *last* raise of the contract. I read somewhere else it could be a couple of years before the next raise. This job, for as much work as I do and they keep expecting more, is still quite low-paying for NYC. It's really difficult and management is so out of touch that they don't give a damn about how much the ask of you in return for so little.

Everyone seems to run toward working for the city, but at this low pay and these gaps between raises...how do you live like this?

I’ve been dealing with constipation for some time, since about December. My doctor and my gastroenterologist so far are not concerned about it and they put me on Linzess. Take it today, as I woke up extremely dehydrated in the middle of the night and felt very off. After hydrating, I felt much better than normal for the rest of the day, minus having a small bowel movement.

Earlier today, I gave myself an enema of plain water, which sometimes hurts because I have pelvic floor dysfunction (male). just now, I felt the urge to go to the bathroom, but it was only like a little bit mixed with some small pebbles. on the surface of the water, was about a nickel sized amount of thin, white mucus with a little bit of bright red blood mixed in.

Should I be concerned about this?
