Employee Opinion Survey

Boycott it. If we really want to make a statement, don't do it. Keep in mind this survey, they say they listened to, cost senior employees across the board PTO days. Whether it was 2 or 5, no one asked for it, no one answered for it either. Gave a median raise of 1% on average as the CEO took home 44%, other senior members in the 20s. Inflation hit 3.5% yesterday. How's that 1% if you was lucky to get it.

Boycott that fucking survey. Still fuck Todd Combs.

The writing is on the walls... Be proactive!

If you aren't in FL or TX, please start either looking elsewhere, continuing your education(use tuition reimbursement) or something!

They've slowed or stopped hiring everywhere else. And are pouring millions into these states, sending management from other regions there and hiring THOUSANDS. There's literally no point and actually a dumb business move to keep the other regional offices open, especially now since everything is handled mostly countrywide.

Calls only should be a crime

Taking calls back to back in ICS should be a crime !! The metrics are unreasonable and impossible to obtain and now Geico has fired everyone to the point where they have barely workers to take calls . It’s extremely stressful and exhausting. Then, they have this long list of metrics to meet like arx, coverage, liability, PAO, other useless things. Then they want you to have a high QCR per hour but calls only all day provides no opportunity for QCR. It also ruins your AI scoring . How can we work through claims and close claims when Geico wants to operate like a call center .

Geico is targeting Aged Employees

If anyone needs proof take a look at the BH Consolidated Pension Plan. April 2026. Participants currently employed. Was 9,020 in 2023 and as of 12/31/2025 it’s all the way down to 7,009. Just what T Diddy Combs and the other executive axemen and axe women wanted. To decimate employee retention with a focus on older employees at a 22% rate. Why you ask? Well to limit liability, ruin lives and all in the name of more profit. This saved BH over 442 million in Liabilities.
Greedy and unethical is what GEICO has become. Employees get 0-1% and executives 35-45%. That’s how our LEADERS LEAD.

  1. Ask where the accident happened and find it on Google maps. (Post that link to the claim)
  2. Ask where they were/what lane they were in before the accident happened.
  3. Ask about controls (stop sign, lights)
  4. Ask about what they did when the accident happened. Were they driving straight? Were they turning?

Changing lanes?

  1. Ask about points of impact
  2. What are the liability laws in the state?
  3. Determine which driver had the greater duty
  4. If you can’t make a decision, ask your supe
  5. Use the liab template

***please refrain from V1 hit V2 and make a NAF decision. Cause when a LOR comes, we look like assholes.

We created this post so that associates from the NY PIP legal office in Melville can anonymously air out all concerns regarding this office. Unfortunately, there is no realistic way to publicly express these concerns.

Please keep replies respectful with no names and no doxing.

What is everyone doing about the removal of Stock?

Got this letter today. I am pissed. I left GEICO in 2020, and my stock has more than doubled since then. I planned on not saving it for retirement, but using it instead for a downpayment on a house. Now this. Admittedly, I can't wrap my mind around stocks and investment, as much as I try. So that this was done for me, and grown nicely since has been ideal. What are you all doing from here?

I cannot believe I have to tell this to people who are supposedly trained on billing on payments for insurance...

Auto insurance bills have a deadline that is sent for late payments, it’s called a cancellation notice.
If customers do not pay on time, the policy will cancel.
No exceptions, unless it’s a confirmed Geico error. If it is, that agent is most likely going to have feedback sent to their supervisor and manager.

I get everyone is so nervous about their metrics, but please do not try and manipulate the process in place or try and sweet talk a customer into an excellent survey if you are.
It hurts their rates, and it hurts other agent metrics too in different departments!

I’m just so sick of whoever is telling customers whatever they want and thinking they can get away with it.
For goodness sake, do you realize that stuff is probably being tracked with everything else here too??

Diminished value claim w/ Geico - do I need to hire an independent DV appraiser?

My 2024 Tesla Model Y was hit in the parking lot by a driver that is insured by Geico. The other driver is determined to be at fault and Geico already paid $6500 for my repairs done at a Tesla Collision Center. I just called Geico and told them that I would like to file a diminished value claim, the agent told me that she would submit that for me and I should hear back from an adjuster within 3 business days. This is my first time going through this, I don’t know if I will need to hire an independent diminished value appraiser for this process?

Don't let them sell your Berkshire Hathaway shares

https://preview.redd.it/fbo2vj70czzg1.jpg?width=2550&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=033fdbbfa21d4d6e8c0c5732198797d9d4c81b91

They're going to sell your Berkshire shares whether you consent to it or not. If you are okay with that, fine. But you put them in there for a reason. At one time, you wanted them. This company does not have your best interests in mind and there's nothing wrong with having some company stock in your retirement portfolio. These are your shares you earned working for this openly hostile company that has screwed you every chance they had. Whether or not you believe in the company, this is a stock you probably want in your long term portfolio.

Transfer your shares to an IRA you control. They are your shares. Is management using this as an opportunity for a small buyback they can get away with at a discount? Who knows! A massive market buyback would tip off investors and the price of the stock would rise. Buying the shares from you doesn't cause that in the same way. Their reasoning for this intrusion into your account is not believable. Shielding you from the exposure to a single stock is not a sufficient explanation when you yourself chose to put that stock in there to begin. Generally speaking, one stock doesn't belong in a 401(k). Berkshire is different. Berkshire is massive, as you know.

GEICO employees have had the option of Berkshire stock for decades. This change is ridiculous. Whether you want the stock or not, this is an intrusion into your accounts. If you wanted to sell the stock, it should start and end with you. Not GEICO.

Just wanted to vent after leaving

I left after being a top performer. I’m realizing just how much Geico undervalues the people and employees who hit those targets and those numbers and in general. Especially after how unattainable they’ve become.

Yeah, ACE and EPR gets a bonus, but with it being heavily taxed at over 40% automatically, it really gets cut it in half. That’s something that Geico changed. I was told they used to give you extra for tax on bonuses to guarantee you got your full bonus amount.

That 30 cent raise while they’re paying new hires who won’t stay more than two weeks more than tenured higher tier agents and top performers are making currently in the same role.

Of course they took away profit sharing and the pensions.

What else? They maybe give you, what, an hour off of the phones to have some food and get a home printer certificate?

There’s agencies out here sending top performers and their families on multi-day vacations, giving them additional guaranteed paid time off, scheduled down time, allowing them to make their own schedules, and paying out high bonus incentives on top of it all.

Now that I’m on the other side, I’m really seeing just how messed up this company is and how much they really do the bare minimum if not less for their employees. They’re really good at trying to paint those rose colored glasses and making you feel like they’re doing you a favor. I promise you’re worth more than that.
