Captain Kirk was going to release a line of lingerie

But the marketing people told him that Shatner panties probably wouldn't sell all that well.

Spelling errors

Does anyone else feel sad when they see spelling errors on gravestones? There are several in the crematorium where I visit my Mum and Dad and it just breaks my heart to think that the grave marker will be like that forever.

I know that not everyone has a comprehensive education but surely the people making the gravestones and grave markers should pick it up, or the management at the cemetery or crematorium before they get placed.

I'm talking things like "taken to soon", "God wanned you back", "It's so hard too say goodbye" and my own personal heartbreak is the gravestone of the 5 year old grandson of some very dear friends "he was not longed for this world but he lit up our lifes". I haven't got the heart to point it out to them. These are not stupid people, they all finished high school and hold down responsible jobs.

How do those sorts of mistakes not get picked up? Do the makers just put down whatever they're given without actually proofreading or thinking about what they're doing? It's just so sad.
