My baby doesn't just feed every 2 hours. He SNORES very often. Is this even normal?

"officially running on zero sleep and pure survival instinct. I expected the 2-hour feeding cycles, I knew it would be rough, but no one warned me about the NOISE.

My 8-week-old doesn't just sleep, he sounds like a tiny tractor. Between the grunting and the full-on snoring, I spend my tiny windows of sleep wide awake, panicking and checking if he’s actually breathing okay. Every weird sound makes me jump.

The math is breaking me. By the time I stumble to the kitchen, prep the formula, feed him, and get him back down, it’s already time to start over. I feel like a zombie. My husband is dead to the world in the other room, the baby is snoring away in the bassinet, and I’m just here. Desperate. Does it ever get better? Are there any hacks to make the nights less of a disaster?"

I’ve been a "service machine" in my own home for 15 years. Last month, I finally staged a coup.

Hit 35 recently and it finally clicked: I’ve been in survival mode since the day I graduated university. For fifteen years, it’s just been this relentless, soul-crushing loop—grind at work, chase the kids, handle the mental load of the house, collapse, repeat.

I was sitting on the couch last month and realized I don’t have a single square inch in this entire house where I can just... exist without someone needing something from me. I was literally destroying my body for a life I wasn't even "present" in. My lower back has been a mess for months from stress and zero posture, and I just kept telling myself to "power through it."

So, I took over the guest room. It was basically a storage closet full of old Amazon boxes and cat hair.

I’ve been slowly turning it into a sanctuary. I bought a stack of books I’ve been meaning to read for years. I finally stopped being a "martyr" and invested in a proper ergonomic chair—I went with a soft pink one because I wanted the space to feel feminine and not like a corporate cubicle. Honestly, it’s the first time in months my spine hasn’t felt like it was on fire.

Last night, I sat in there for three hours. Just me, some vinyl, and a book. I didn't think about dinner, or laundry, or daycare. I felt like a human being again, not just a wife or a mother.

I "knew" newborns didn't sleep, but I wasn't ready for the actual soul-crushing reality of it.

My wife and I did the whole thing—read the books, watched the YouTubers, took the classes. We knew babies eat every 2-3 hours. We thought we were prepared. We weren't. Not even close.
Month one hasn't been "tired"—it's been a total brain-melting blur. I’m currently walking around like a zombie on a boat. Last night, I caught myself staring at the bottle warmer for five minutes trying to remember if I already put the powder in.
The 3 AM feeding is the worst. You finally get them down, you crawl back into bed, your head hits the pillow... and 45 minutes later, the screaming starts again. Your heart just drops. Nobody told me that weeks of this would actually rewire my brain. I snapped at my wife over a misplaced burp cloth, then felt like a total jerk five minutes later. We’re both just… frayed.
How did you survive this? Is there an actual hack to make the night routine faster? I’m desperate for some proof that I’ll eventually feel like a human being again.

"I recently picked up a F20pro and I’m enjoying it so far. To be honest, the sound quality of this little gadget is truly excellent, warm and smooth.

The craftsmanship is excellent; it feels as sturdy as a tank.

For daily listening, I mostly use Poweramp. I ran into the issue where music would sometimes stop playing, but if i go into the settings and turn on all the options in the AudioTrack section, it seems to fix it.

The scroll wheel is pretty cool, though right now it only adjusts volume. It would be awesome if it could do more, like skip tracks."
