will 5mg of escitolpram help me?

I have been having pppd for 9 months now, it started after I went to ER the with at the time I thought was something dangerous but turned out to be a rolling panic attack, I just had multiple panic attacks one after the other, ever since I got stuck with this non vertigo dizziness and all tests came back normal.

I was prescribed 2 SSRIs that I never took and multiple benzos which I also didn't take except for one time (0.25mg of Clonazepam) and I felt much better like better than I was pre pppd.

yesterday I went to a neurologist and he gave me Valporic acid+sodium valporate 500mg 1 pill at night for 3 days and quintiapine 25mg 1 at night for three days. I know by this approach he's trying to desensitize my nervous system fast, but these are much heavier drugs than valium for instance (which I didn't take but was prescribed 1.5mg by my psychiatrist).

I am now ready to try the psychiatrist route as I was scared straight by the new medication and I'm willing to try anything less drastic.

tldr; I don't want to take new much scarier drug did anyone have success with low dose escitolpram 5mg.

ps. all of this could have been avoided if the ER only gave me a benzo during my 6hrs of panic attacks one after the other. it would've stopped my first one and I wouldn't have had pppd. I now have to take benzos because of them anyway.

9 months now same unrelenting symptoms

about 9 months ago I went to the ER with very strong dizziness (not spinning)and feeling like I'm going to pass out. my heart rate was 140bpm and blood pressure 140/85. after staying at the ER for 4hrs with these symptoms I was given a referral to a cardiologist and a neurologist, they did do an EKG and ctscan (both came back clear) at the ER but wanted to check for POTS or neurological issues that could be the cause.

the cardiologist cleared me completely and told me it was anxiety and gave me escitolpram, but I didn't believe him so I didn't take it and went to the neurologist who also cleared me of MS or MG and gave me a referral to the psychiatrist.

the psychiatrist diagnosed me with panic disorder and OCD 4 months ago and gave me fluoxetine and Clonazepam to use when needed. I also didn't believe him and didn't take the medications, about three months ago my panic attacks stopped completely they don't happen but I'm close to having one sometimes.

my symptoms that never went away were

non swaying dizziness.

not true weakness and numbness in my knees.

I can still squat and move with no issue but I always feel out of balance.

all my tests are normal CBC, b12, vitamin d.

when I get the dizzy fit my whole face has pins and needles, I feel pressure from the inside of my head to the outside on my ears. I feel disoriented I just don't know why.

I have no headache at all mostly pressure and tension and I feel like I'm on the brink of losing my mind or crying.

pins and needles and non-vertigo dizziness

I have been dealing with non vertigo dizziness for almost 8 months. I have done every test under the sun and it all came back fine, except for b12 was 284pg/l and vitamin d which was 19. at that point I started supplementing vitamin d first for 2 months but my doctor had concerns about b12 and wanted above 400pg/l.

anyway I got my vitamin d levels to 30 and I started supplementing b12 about 8 days now and I started having worsening symptoms. today I have pins and needles on the bottom of my feet, non true weakness in my knees and dizziness.

heart and brain are ok I have done multiple ECGs, echocardiograms and a ctscan and MRI over the last 8 months all came back clear.

the only thing that changed was the b12.

it's a 1000mcg sublingual cyanocobalamin pill.

my CBC shows no anemia.

my blood pressure seems a lot more stable though staying around 120/80, where in the past it used to go up to 130-140/70-80 and go down as low as 100-105/57-60

About I went to the ER with dizziness that started as a burning feeling at the back of my head. it was never spinning just a general feeling of disequilibrium and being out of balance.

I spent 2 months bedridden and gradually gotten better. during the 8 months I always felt it in my legs mostly my knees as perceived weakness, I can walk and squat no problem but I feel numb in my knees.

yesterday the head dizziness came back again and I'm honestly very frustrated now.

the one thing I know to make it worse is bad sleep, however sleeping well doesn't make it go away but rather makes it more tolerable. I'm out of ideas can you help me figure it out?

I checked my heart, brain and ear and it wasn't any of them. I check my bp constantly and it's usually in a good range my diastolic can get to the upper 50s sometimes but not always.

I have normal iron and b12 levels.
