I'm having problems trying to get an ipod classic to Australia from the US and I need some advice.
How are you sending your iPods via international flight to a different country (packaging, marking as hazmat or not, ect). I am trying to send to an AUS PO Box as well and can seemingly only use my postal service (USPS) and any advice to get a lithium battery through them would be extra helpful.

Before I mailed this I wanted to get this correct, because (no hate to anyone else) I went to the post office and received entirely inaccurate information from everysingle clerk that USPS does not accept any lithium batteries at all on international flights and they can never leave the country.
So in Publication 52, section 9E, it talks about lithium batteries inside electronic devices are allowed to mail in the chart (there's a specific section even that grants an exception for air travel). It also says that "No lithium battery markings permitted" undernearh packaging > markings.. so this entire page is telling me, so long as the WH are under 2.7WH and there are no markings on the outside, they should accept my package for air travel?
I also wanted to make sure, I already know I shouldn't need to mark this as a dangerous good, but making a label and requesting pick up, do I need to mark this as hazmat on both tickets or can I not worry about doing that? It's a small audio playback device.. any help is appreciated, thank you.
Hello. I was trying to get a package sent internationally (from the US, so it would fly there) to an AUS Post PO Box, and I'm unfamiliar with the laws on PO Boxes in Australia. In the US only USPS can deliver to a PO Box, is it the same in AUS?.. and if it is, if I sent via a third party by plane (DHL, UPS, ect), would it then transfer to AUS post and be sent just fine to the PO Box?
I'm trying to get a small electronic device sent, and I was just going to send it through USPS, but they are hassling me over a tiny lithium battery, and the best part is the exact same device came on a flight FROM AUS post to me here lol. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
