How come the XU20 V32 is rarely talked about in this community?

How come the XU20 V32 is rarely talked about in this community?

I was reminded about this things existence the other day and decided to look more into it. A smaller budget device that runs android and has the same screen as the TrimUI Brick, yet I rarely see any mention of it. Even Russ seemingly doesn’t have a video on it. How come it’s not mentioned more often as an option for an affordable and pocketable device?

What are some lesser known fun racing games?

By lesser known I just mean like no Gran Turismo, Need For Speed, Burnout, Midnight Club, or any other of the usual top recommendations.

Anyone else running a minimal 5 game or less setup?

Device: TrimUI Brick
CFW: MinUI

I was inspired by Russ’ 5 game handheld video and decided to try it myself. It’s nice to have just a handful of games and a CFW that doesn’t really allow you to tinker even if you try. Regardless of the 5 games I have at any one time, I always try to make sure they’re all from different systems and genres.

I also have a Retroid Pocket 5 that I may try this on, but with the more demanding systems (PS2, PSP, GameCube, N64, DC, etc). I think I would do a minimalist theme on ES-DE with very light scraping, probably just the box art. The temptation to mess around with things will definitely be way stronger than on the Brick though!

Right now I’m rocking Advance Wars (GBA), Little Samson (NES), Pokemon Yellow (GB), Super Mario RPG (SNES), and Tetris DX (GBC). Have you tried this setup? If so, what device and games are you using?

Just wondering because as much of an improvement as the Legacy series is, I still sometimes wanna fire up the OGs. Wondering if anyone else is like this

I was in hell during the reshell lmao, I’m honestly surprised I didn’t break anything. I didn’t do a perfect job but it feels far better to use now than the stock shell it was in when I bought it. Got the shell from here. They also have an official site if you prefer that.

DS Pico is a great new flash cart, I believe it’s open source and is being actively developed. I’m excited to see how the community continues to add to it.

Game in the 2nd pic is Newer Super Mario Bros, a rom hack of New Super Mario Bros DS. More info on the hack can be found here if you’re interested.
