I made snack themed cookies

1.) Loaded circus animal cookie: White chocolate, frosted circus animal, and sprinkle cookie with a white chocolate drizzle.

2.) PB&Cheez: Peanut butter cookie with chunks of cheez-it (this one was everyone’s favorite).

3.) Sweet & Savory: Chocolate Chip, salted peanut, and pretzel cookie.

PB&Cheez

Cream together:

-1/4 cup salted butter, softened

-3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

-1/4 cup white sugar

-1 cup brown sugar

-1 egg + 1 egg yolk

-1 tsp vanilla extract

Then, mix in until a dough forms:

-1 cup all purpose flour

-3/4 tsp baking soda

-1 tsp salt

Then, mix in until evenly distributed:

-1 cup cheez-itz, rough chopped (extra for topping)

Using a 3oz scoop, scoop onto parchment lined cookie sheets, flatten slightly and place a cheez-it on top. Bake at 350° for 10-13 minutes, careful not to overbake. The edges should be lightly browned, not even golden, just lightly browned.

Once out of the oven, while still hot, take a spatula and press down the dome to ensure you get a super soft and chewy cookie center. Enjoy!

Seeing how many validated the lady who struck a child in this group is extremely off putting

There was a post that was up for what seemed like forever about a 19 year old female who slapped an 8 year old so hard that it left a visible mark on their face because they bullied her autistic little brother.

There was so many comments that were validating OP and also confessing crazy things that they’ve done as well, several being class A examples of child abuse. That’s not normal, the way that OP felt about striking a child as opposed to discussing it with their parents was disgusting, they thoroughly enjoyed doing it and thought it was funny, and the amount of people that excused them because they stood up for their autistic sibling is insane. Y’all CANNOT validate awful behavior just because they were “protecting” their sibling. They put their hands on a small child and they think it’s funny. OP was also a woman and if she had been a man, y’all would be losing it. Women can be predators too. This person needs help, stop telling them they were right for ASSAULTING A CHILD.

The fact that so many of y’all thought that it was even remotely okay to put your hands on a kid as a grown adult is downright vile. It’s child abuse. There was one lady that confessed to smacking a baby. Absolutely not. That’s not autism, that’s ASPD, especially if you think it’s perfectly fine and hold no remorse for harming a child. A lot of y’all need to check your values because y’all are dangerous and predatory people if you think it’s fine to abuse a child instead of talking to their parents.

The cookies I donated to a benefit for a 2nd grade girl who’s fighting cancer

My sisters her husband and his cook team (BBQ) are hosting a benefit/fundraiser tomorrow to raise money for a girl who’s in my nephew’s class who’s fighting cancer. My nephew is 8 and today is his birthday and he said that for his birthday he wanted to do something nice and help this little girl out (we call him our gummy bear because he’s so sweet). So to help I donated several dozen cookies to help them sell more and raise more money. They’re selling BBQ plates so I tried to do something that would pair well with the plates.

Here’s the flavors:

1.) PB&Cheez: Peanut butter cookie with chunks of Cheez-Itz

2.) Frosted Circus Animal: White chocolate chip cookie with frosted circus animal cookie chunks and sprinkles topped with a frosted cookie, a white chocolate drizzle, and sprinkles.

3.) Sweet & Savory: Chocolate chip cookie with salted peanuts and pretzels
