If recorded history only goes back 5,000 years ago I just find it so crazy that beyond that we don’t really know much. If humans have been around for at least 100,000 years doesn’t it make sense that there must have been ancient sophisticated civilizations that crumbled without trace?

I just find it so hard to believe that we jumped from tvs with antennas to 8K TVs in a matter of 30 years but there were no technological advances in the 95,000+ years prior to recorded history idk

If you ever worked at a blue collar spot where all the guys drive big trucks and work 60-70 hour work weeks, you realize that ALOT OF THEM HATE THEIR WIVES.

Find you a woman and treat her well and split your finances down the middle based on percentages. That’s the only way to live. Taking care of a grown ass person no matter how much you love them will eventually make you resent them.

Someone I thought was just a close friend of hers is someone she in fact consistently hooks up with when she’s single. Not like a one time thing but more like a on going fwb

This has created lots of tension for me because I asked her why did they stop hooking up and she said because she’s with me, and I kind of inferred from that that she’s still sexually attracted to him. And this doesn’t even include the close emotional attachment they have as friends.

I think it’s one thing to just be close friends but the fact that they have and consistently hook up and see each other naked is making me feel very uncomfortable and I don’t feel like I’m being some kind of jealous freak, am I? I mean who would be comfortable with this. We’ve talked about it and she’s unwilling to end the friendship with him so I’m feeling like breaking up is my only choice.

You kind of put people in an uncomfortable position when you do that. Yeah I get that you don’t want people to objectify you, but that’s the risk you take by even being on a dating app. The whole function of the app is for men and women to objectify each other.

Unlike in person where you can see the person in motion and talk to them and develop a connection there. It’s unfair to expect someone to take the risk and meet up with you and they don’t even know what you look like! Be upfront if you are on a dating app or conversely don’t use the app if you’re afraid of people being attracted to you.
