Before & after trans voice TikTok singing video with my lovely friend Asher Phoenix (1998-2025)

Asher and I had a short romance before and briefly after Asher came out as trans. Asher performed in musical theatre in high school and college. I loved Asher so much. Even though I liked Asher way more than Asher liked me. Wish we'd spent more time together.

TikToker & Los Angeles Times photographer Asher Phoenix's advice on trans voice changes (1998-2025)

Asher & I had a brief romance before they came out as trans. In college Asher was a musical theatre actor. They passed in 2025 in their home state of Kansas, age 26. I liked Asher way more than Asher liked me. Unrequited love.

49 [M4F] #Los Angeles, #California - Looking for a pretty, intelligent woman to date romantically!

I'm six foot two tall, blue eyes, confident yet not cocky, white, successful, clean shaven, average build, creative, writer, movie fan, never married, non-smoker, social drinker. I can be both quiet and introverted and other times very much more social and outgoing.

I love movies of all kinds, live shows and comedy, hiking, video games, gastropubs, trying new restaurants and bars. I definitely need to travel more, finally got my passport a couple years ago. I'm seeking a pretty, intelligent woman to date romantically.

I'm specifically located in the South Bay of the Los Angeles area. I'm also open to something more casual or just making new friends. Please be reasonably local. Cheers.

Death on the Nile (1978)

Vastly prefer this 1970s film adaptation of Agatha Christie's classic novel Death on the Nile over the 2022 remake. Kenneth Branagh, who I like, just can't compete with Peter Ustinov. Plus Mia Farrow is such a badass in this film!
