I cannot put in my phone number to get cents off gallons of gas and pay cash! It’s impossible. How do you do it?

I’ve tried every way possible:

  1. putting in my number at the pump and then going inside to pay cash. When I do that and I come back out to the pump, it’s on a different screen and it doesn’t remember the phone number and it doesn’t take cents of the gas.

  2. going inside to pay cash first and then coming back out to the pump, but thers is no longer anywhere to put the phone number in.

  3. Going inside to pay cash first and putting my number into the register, when I come out, it doesn’t take cents off the gas

How can you put in your phone number and get cents off your gas while you’re paying cash?!?

during the free trial for the cellular plan- how exactly do you change the eSIM to another phone if you need to? and is there any verification to make sure the free trial account holder is calling, since free accounts don’t get pins? like a verification text or link? I called CS and they said they didn’t know the answer to my questions.

I don’t wanna take any chances, because I don’t know the person I bought it from. What exactly can I do to make sure it doesn’t have bedbugs? I can’t wait a year to use it. I don’t have a freezer to put it in. I live in a humid subtropical climate, but I don’t think it will get hot enough to keep it in my car right now. I also don’t wanna leave a laptop in my car in case it gets stolen. I don’t have a packtite. I’m not sure if it’ll be able to survive being in the oven for the amount of time and temperature it would need. So I’m at a loss what to do

I am thinking of getting shield internet But I’m going to use my unlocked iPhone as the hotspot router instead of a dedicated one, do you think that’ll work? I use about 125 GB a month, I don’t game, but I do watch YouTube and listen to Spotify a lot. One thing I’m concerned about is the throttling or de prioritization. Has anyone experienced this? I’m also wondering if the SIM card for WiFi is in the iPhone that’s being used as the hotspot device, will the Internet actually work on that phone as cellular data too?

I’m supposed to get five cents off gas with my account. If I pay by credit card, it’s very straightforward. I put in my phone number. then I put in my credit card and the pump shows five cents off the gas I want to select. But when I pay cash it’s impossible. I’ve tried putting in my phone number, then going into the store paying cash. but when I come out, it’s back to the original screen. it doesn’t show my phone number or the cents of the gallon of gas. When I pay first in the store with cash, and I come back to the pump, there’s no option to put in the phone number.

I want to port in my number to TextNow for the free account. my understanding is I have to pay $4.99, and then Im completely lost how I can keep the number permanently just in case I can’t text or call every week.

there’s so much mis and bad information online even from text now, that I don’t know what’s actually accurate. Is it two dollars a week or five dollars a year to make sure I don’t lose my number? And how much does it cost to be able to get short codes, the ?

I’ve never used red pocket before, and the annual plan of 200 mb data a month is perfect for me. I’ve seen some complaints online about their customer service so I’m wary to try it. The coverage map is good in my area, but I don’t know how that translates in real life. my worry is that there could be an issue with my plan or they could inflate my data usage etc. and customer service won’t be able to help and I’ll be stuck paying for a year sim with no recourse for refund. I’ll be porting my long term number over and I also don’t know how reliable they are, and if it’s a bad idea to port such a long-term number to them. what do you guys think? What’s your experience been like?
