Hatch 4 Embroidery Software - Worth upgrading again from Hatch 3?

Hey everyone,

Curious what your thoughts are on Hatch 4 so far. I've owned Hatch since the original version and currently have Hatch 3. Between all the paid upgrades over the years, plus some of the add-ons/elements, I've spent more on upgrades than the original software itself.

A few of the new features look useful, especially the multi-blend tool, but I'm still trying to decide if there's enough here to justify yet another paid upgrade.

Some of the other stuff feels more like smaller workflow improvements than major new features. The AI chat thing also doesn't really move the needle much for me personally since most people already use ChatGPT anyway.

I also noticed a few of the new workflow features being highlighted are things I've already seen in other embroidery software. I own Embroidery Legacy digitizing software as well, and features like continue digitizing and reshaping views have been there for quite a while already.

Not trying to bash Hatch at all, I used them for years. Just genuinely trying to figure out if this paid upgrade feels worth the price for people who already own Hatch 3?

How does everyone feel about the upgrade?

  • Does it actually feel noticeably different?
  • Has it improved your workflow much?
  • Worth the upgrade price in your opinion?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with these cable/internet boxes right at the front of my house (right beside the sidewalk/driveway). Not the nicest thing to look at, and unfortunately, the cable company said they can’t be moved.

So I mocked up a few options and would love some honest opinions:

  • Option 1: Just grass (keep it super simple)
  • Option 2: Small, clean garden with a couple of low-maintenance plants
  • Option 3: Minimal rock bed (low maintenance with a more modern look)

I’m leaning one way, but curious what others think from a curb appeal perspective?

Which option would you go with?
Or is there a better idea I’m not thinking of?

Open to any suggestions, especially if you’ve dealt with these boxes before.

Thanks!

I have a wedding coming up and wanted to help by embroidering the napkins.

What does everyone think about this design?

Any other suggestions?

Thank you!
