How to improve this?

Some info:

Brother PE800

75 Needle

40 Thread

Cut away stabilizer

Is this a digitizing problem or a machine problem?

Made a hat

Digitized this for my wife's cousin who wanted a sticker she saw on instagram but for a hat. Most my stuff comes out like 70% perfect. This one was like 95% and I fixed the file right after for the 99% incase we ever use it again.

look what i did

I just made a funny mistake 😄
I took 3 pictures from different angles and sent them to my customer, and he asked why I was using 3 different colors.

I Made My Largest Patches Yet!

My aunt asked me to make some patches for her, as her and my cousins were going to a Conan Gray gig and wanted to decorate what they were wearing with something relevant. She requested 5" square, and I'm pretty used to digitising tiny, simple things (like maybe 2" square). I took it on as a challenge, and these are how they turned out! I'm most proud of the wishbone and clover one, but there are things I'd probably change about each one. I'm not a very experienced digitiser, so I learnt a lot.

Why did I do this to myself

My good friend trust me with doing embroidery things for her, but I'm a self taught digitizer and machine embroiderer. I have a fancy 10 needle that my husband and I bought in 2023 and I've done well with patches and the occasional shirts but for some reason, I agreed to embroider a design my friend and I work on together for these not cheap L.L. Bean fleece jackets. I've never embroidered on this type of fabric before but here I go, diving head first into something. I got one jacket done, and then I go and change the stitch pattern for the outline. (like an idiot) That was a disaster. Ruin one of the jackets, had to buy another one, and just stitched my second jacket. I have 4 more to do..... why do I do this to myself!? I just needed to vent and hoped that any suggestions, or positive words would help me with this project. I'm currently using the 5x7" fast frame from Brother to make this project.

I’m new to embroidery work. I paid a company 2$ for this digitization. Is this good, or should I request revisions? The preview looks fine. Maybe it’s a limitation of the embroidery machine?

Learning Digitization

I have a brother single thread embroidery machine I bought. I want to try making some custom designs and try digitization. I have some photoshop experience. I tried ink stitch but had a hard time understanding it. Is there a better digitising software to start learning and become good at this? Any blogs or books to better understand the various stitches and stuff. Eventually want to be able to sell my digitisation. Don't mind if it takes a year or more.

I need help

I can’t seem to sell any of my products online with the ads and I’m confused as to why. is this a good enough product? Where should I sell it? is there any in person venues that I can go to in El Paso?

remember when i posted this logo asking if working it into satin stitch was even worth it?! u/QuirkyDeal4136 took that as a challenge and produced this beautiful piece for me!! such an intricate design, but look at that result! i can’t thank you enough! as soon as i get my hands on some iron-on stabilizer, this is going front and center on my favorite hoodie, in a BRIGHT neon orange! i’m way too excited!!!! 🤩

The first Green Man! More coming soon 🍃

About 6x6", stitched out as a patch on water soluble stabilizer. I used some soft n stable foam stabilizer on the face to achieve a bit more of a 3D effect.

Daughters drawing to Shirt(Applique)

My daughter made me this card for my birthday a while back, she asked if i could eventually scan and digitize it so it can go on a shirt. Here is the result with some minor tweaks by me (she did NOT like my changes but dealt with it). All colors chosen by her, she wanted more but we settled for what she got.

Hi! I’m new, so sorry if this is a common or annoying question, however I’m having a hard time finding reliable digital artists. I don’t think I’m in the place yet to make my own designs, and I’m tired of getting scammed on ETSY and my projects turning out bad. Do yall have any recommendations on where to buy designs? I mainly make Disney/older cartoons/ Winnie the Pooh/ princesses for my toddler! TIA🫶🏻

thank you again u/QuirkyDeal4136 💖

edit: there IS a satin stitch border on this so i promise it won’t fray apart, but the lighting isn’t great at capturing it

Embroidering Korean artifacts from 500 years ago.

Today, I have embroidered the 'Jujak-gi' (the Vermilion Bird Flag), which guarded the southern side of military camps during the Joseon Dynasty 500 years ago, along with the 'Dokkaebi (Goblin) Eyes' series, inspired by the grotesque Gwinmyeon (monster face) motifs found in Buddhist temples.

It is important to note that the Dokkaebi is distinct from the Japanese Oni.

The Korean Dokkaebi is a much more humorous and friendly being compared to the Japanese Oni.
