I’m seriously considering an MBA ..

With AI changing industries, layoffs in some sectors, rising tuition costs, and more alternative ways to build a career, I’m wondering if an MBA still gives strong ROI today. For people who recently did an MBA or decided against it

Was it worth the time and money?

Did exams like GMAT / GRE lead to real opportunities?

If you could go back, would you still do it?

If not then What would you recommend instead

I’m seriously considering an MBA and wanted honest opinions from people who’ve done it or are currently preparing.

With the current job market, AI changes, competition, and rising fees, is an MBA still worth

Hi everyone, I’m asking this from a personal place. I’ve been dealing with a long period of stress since around age 20, especially through ages 23, 24, and 25. Now I’m almost 27, and I feel like those years passed with very little progress. I feel like I’ve done nothing meaningful during that time, and the stress has affected my motivation, focus, confidence, and overall mental sharpness...so my question is Can focus, memory, motivation, learning ability, and emotional resilience come back strongly in the late 20s? If so, what actually helps create that change, and how long can it realistically take?

I’m 27 and interested in working with organizations like the UN, especially in climate action, disaster relief, or humanitarian work.

My degree was supposed to finish in 2022, but due to delays and backlogs, it took me around three extra years to complete

I know my path hasn’t been ideal, so I’m wondering honestly..

Is this kind of academic delay a major problem for entering this field? What realistic steps should someone in my position take now to build toward volunteering or future roles in international organizations?

Over the past few years, I went through a long period of stress, isolation, and personal setbacks. During that time, I didn’t meet new people or build many connections

My therapist recently suggested that meeting new people and forming new connections could help me move forward, but honestly, it feels overwhelming

After being disconnected for so long, I’m not even sure where people start anymore

For anyone who has gone through something similar:

how did you meet new people and build genuine connections again ?
