In your opinion any of the Metro Universe books better that the original books?
Addressing what happened on the Discord.
To everyone who is active on tbe discord I'm sorry I wasn't active to ban the person posting the sketchy posts and links immediately. I was away from my devices for the day for personal reasons and for that I am truly sorry.

I hope everyone is OK and no one was affected by anything.
I got myself a new book, for those who have read it what do you think of it?
What are your arguments for and against brining other hominids back from extinction?
I think Spike has been possessed by chatgpt.
You cant find me in the prologue, great eye. You are the best at spotting things I cannot.
I feel like im losing my mind why does everything sound like its written by AI now?
Since there are DBD skins in Siege now why not have Seige skins in DBD for the Killers. I Suggest Gridlock and Mozzie as the twins.
If this has been done before I apologise I havent seen it posted anywhere.
How many undiscovered hominids do you think there are and are there more like Neanderthals and the Ghost liniage that we interbred with?
I always love hearing the news of a new discovery of a hominid. Its interesting to read up on where they were discovered and how they connect in the funky tree we call our evolutionary line.
I know the evolution of hominids is less of a straight line and it doesn't occur like seen on Rudolph Zallinger's March of Progress. It is a slow process going from one to the other. But how many undiscovered hominid are there to discover, and how many could there possibly be seeing as evolution is constant. Homo Naledi from 300000 years ago was maybe not the same Naledi from 200000 years ago, would they still be classed as the same hominid?
If I made any mistakes please feel free to correct me.
Have a good day.
Scatterlings of Africa - Johnny Clegg and Savuka, an amazing song that is a great anthem for Paleoanthropology
I grew up in South Africa where Clegg and Savuka come from and ive loved them all my life. And in all honesty I think Scatterlings of Africa should be on the list of songs that represent Paleoanthropology.
What songs do you think represent Paleoanthropology nicely?
These are my chicken, spinach and feta sausages. I call them Woolworths after the spinach and feta pies I would get as a kid from the grocery store Woolworths.
How many Neanderthal ancestors would a single person have?
I know its a hard question to answer but I find it interesting. I know depending on your heritage you would have a different percentage of Neanderthal DNA to other people.
If im not mistaken there would have been many instances of sapien neanderthal breeding but the only living decent would be that of Neanderthal Male and Sapien Female.
So going off of that how many Neanderthal ancestors do you think everyone has?
Please feel free to correct me on any mistakes I have made, im here to learn not to prove how smart I am. Thank you and have a great day.
If a member of Paranthropus or a Homo like Homo Naledi was around today how would they be treated in comparison to all thr modern great apes?
Would they be kept in sanctuaries like other great apes around the world and how would the field of Paleoanthropology have changed if we had another member of Homo that wasn't as similar to Sapiens were as Neanderthals.
Id love to hear your thoughts. Have a great day.
Why does my printer keep doing this? I cleaned the nozzle and the plate and it keeps doing this im starting yo get frustrated.
For those who have played it what do you think of Farcry Primal?
In all honesty its always been my favorite next to Farcry 5. I know its not the most historically accurate game in the world by a long shot but I think its an enjoyable game that actually tried to be original.
Im aware that the Neanderthals in this fall into the cliché of being brutish people but I think their involvement is still interesting.
And I am aware that the Neanderthals are alive too late if trying to be historically accurate.
So if you did play it what did you think?
I think having non Sapien DNA is cool as hell and id love to hear your thoughts on different hominids possibly coexisting peacefully.

Even if its between 1% or 2% for Neanderthal DNA I think that it is awesome. For me my Neanderthal ancestors( however few in numbers they are) mean just as much to me as my Sapien ancestors. Ive seen a few people talking about it in posts and replies and I feel like I'm starting to understand more about it.
Id love to hear your thoughts on the matter and if you have any info youd like to share id love to hear it.
P.S. I apologise that ive been posting so much recently I hope its not unbearable, Im just loving talking to you all and learning from you. Ive still got alot to learn and ill never know everything but here's to trying I guess.
What are you hoping for when it comes to new discoveries in the field of Paleoanthropology?
In all honesty for me im hoping for more Sapien-Neanderthal hybrid discoveries. Im hoping we expand our current understanding of Sapien-Neanderthal coexistence and interactions.
What do you think? What are you hoping for?
P.S. I am aware the image shown is Homo Naledi, I just thought it was a cool image to use for this post.
How do you keep up to date with your paleoanthropology news and new developments?
What is the most updated textbook on paleoanthropology and where can I get it?
I have Britain: One million years of the human story and Our Human Story both from the Natural History Museum.
But im looking for some indepth books that will teach me as much as I can get out of them.
Me trying to boost for oxygen after coming back to Subnautica 1
Currently reading a nonfiction paleoanthropology book called Kindred by Rebecca Wragg Sykes about Neanderthals and I need more.
Im currently loving Rebecca's book Kindred and im currently looking to find something else to read when ive completed it. Are there any other nonfiction paleoanthropology books youd recommended?
