E-waste scrap haul - all from dumpsters
i've been dumpster diving at computer repair shops for the past few months, saving what works and scrapping what's too old/doesn't work. just loaded up my hatchback and took 360 lbs of e-scrap to ohio.
the computers in the last pic all work. i frankensteined some of them together into an optiplex with 32gb of ddr4 (passed memtest with 0 errors) and an i7-9770. gonna use it for a proxmox machine with an external disk shelf (with 8x 2tb drives that were all free as well.)
absolutely INSANE what people throw away. it has been a real privilege getting to learn so much about hardware and being able to mess with software on free machines.
How can the foundation promise to keep the caller safe, when Michael was there & allowed the man slipping evidence into kitt to get shot? One man can’t make a difference, if the promise is that big & keep it. Realistically, he needs a bigger team.
That was brutal, crushing someone in a car.
Don’t remember all the murders as a kid. Didn’t even know what the show was about. I was so focused on the cool car.
The show was basically a giant ad for Pontiac. The amount of times cool car was mentioned throughout the series is astonishing. In the documentary knight rider declassified, Pontiac admitted to selling lots of trans ams, because of the show knight rider.
Have you ever seen this rare bird in Brooklyn? (Not actual photo.)
As I continue Season 2, what stands out to you most about this episode? This is the first time we see Michael Knight vulnerable. He’s never taken a beating before quite like that. Usually he overcomes his opponents rather quickly. He is losing his aura of invincibility.
On a side note, I don’t remember the girls of the 80s being quite so friendly. Camela kisses both Michael & Devon goodbye, on the lips! 😮
Let the downvotes commence into oblivion! Hahaha!! 😂
Just found this gem. Not bad, clever use of AI & kinda funny too.
The pace of the action was pretty good. Pretty suspenseful. The clock ticking down was a nice touch. Definitely more adult oriented than kid oriented. Thoughts? Liked it or hated it?
That bomb going off at the end didn’t look like it would have been a danger to many people, had it remained in that upper level of that parking lot, lol
It doesn’t make sense. KITT has never sustained as much as a scratch, until this point, & he’s been fired at with nuclear weapons!
