Dead audience...

Well, I was in cinema yesterday. I did wear my Billie Jean outfit and was so damn hyped! One woman made a photo of me and I was cheering out of cars and had to do the "heehee" and "hoo"'s. Really enjoyed this insane feedback and fame I had 😂

But damn. During the movie. Complete silence. No one clapped, sang alone or just cheered. It was a dead audience with no insane atmosphere. Why??? I seen Videos of audiences going crazy and was looking forward to a show with people who enjoy it as much as I did. But whyyyyyyy

Can't understand why it was so dead.

Movie was sick btw. Yeah, it wasn't really going deep into different aspects. But the concert and music Video scenes were produced so so good!

“Terrible” “Indefensible”

These media critics won’t quit surprise surprise, but it just grinds my gears how these headlines get passed through when it’s obvious slander and biased coverage or “reporting”. When it comes to MJ, there’s no care at all about true opinion. Never trusting anything this guy has to say for the Washington post. I’m not saying Michael was perfect but no film truly is, it’s one of the best movies I’ve seen and not just cause I love MJ.

I can say I didn’t feel the 2 hours and was left wanting more and countless people feel the same hence the part 2 announcement. So many people are waking up to the obvious media agenda to push out whatever negative thing they can say about the movie while it’s continuing to shatter records.

They don’t wanna give the genuine appreciation and love people have for MJ credit. They’re saying the only reason it’s breaking records is cause “the impulse to see it is human”. Please.

Chances they will release a concert in theatres?

I’m hoping for a EPIC (Elvis Presley in Concert) situation where the film becomes a success so they keep the hype alive by releasing an actual concert at theatres in 4K, if they released one next year it would also be enough to hold us over for Part 2 possibly in 2028

As for the tour I think the Victory Tour would be the obvious choice to go with then maybe off the back of Part 2 they could give us Bad tour in theatres. What do we think?

Beat it jacket

Now that the movie is officially out - Is it just me or do any of you feel like the costume designer in charge of the jackets, could’ve done a better job re-creating the Beat It jacket? Because to me it looks cheap.

Film used / his original.

I can’t get over the Bad Intro at the end of the movie.

LIKEEEE, MICHAEL LITERALLY POSSESSED HIM IN THAT SCENE.

They were so smart to put that part at the end of the film. This movie has CRACK in it. I never purchase movies but I need to buy Michael. Im going to see it again in theaters.

I need this movie to be available for me to watch 24/7 once it’s digital.

You can’t erase MJs legacy & innocence. My children’s children will be watching this movie too when time comes 🤣

Saw it for the third time yesterday, but in IMAX—my mind was blown!

This was my first-ever IMAX experience; it was unforgettable. The concert scenes specifically were incredible on the big screen. If you're unsure about whether to see it in IMAX, do it.

Why did they give Michael the asexual edit?

I enjoyed the film, I understand the Diana Ross stuff got cut out, but if you know Michael, she wasn’t the only woman he interacted with during that time. He was a multilayered person and the film dropped the ball not showing him even looking at a woman. Louie the Llama got the sweet nothings whispered in his ear lmao.

Even some of the Ola Ray Making of thriller behind the scenes stuff would’ve been good to show him coming into his own as man.
Missed opportunity.

Edit - Okay so they actually filmed the interactions with Ola Ray and everyone is losing their minds over it on socials. I would’ve loved to see that on the big screen. That’s crazy they cut that out. Seems like they cut out anything to give him more depth in general.
