the scariest thing i've encountered in 150 hours

i've been taking my time grinding the swamps before fighting bonemass and moving on to other biomes, but so far 2-star draugr elites are the only things that kick my ass. my first encounter i got one-tapped through a parry at 80 health and upgraded troll armor. that was with a bronze buckler. now even with a banded shield parry, i take 15 damage and stagger.

deathsquitos are a close second, as i've encountered them too early a few times, but at least those are weak, as long as you block them it's fine.

anyone else getting tired of the majority roblox content recently?

maybe it's just me being an older viewer in my 30s with no interest in roblox. i understand it appeals to the majority younger viewers of his audience, so i get why he'd want to.

i want to be clear i'm not trying to say he can't play whatever he wants, i'm just wondering if anyone else has been kinda bummed entire streams recently are basically roblox

[PS2] I have two PS2 controllers with no button input feedback - is it a simple membrane circuit replacement?

One is a model H controller that's recognized by the console, but there's no button input feedback

The other is a model A controller (the variant that pushes the ribbon cable down rather than a pin connector) that has no button feedback as well as there being no recognition from the console that it's plugged in.

Nothing seems visually wrong with either, but I've seen that the most likely fix for the model H is to get a replacement membrane for the buttons. Would the fix be the same for the model A, even though that one isn't being recognized by the console? or is the issue deeper?

[PS2] Got a weird situation with this PS2 reading games, hoping some of y'all can help me out

There are three separate clips here. The first one shows that the console immediately runs and plays CoD3 - the laser immediately starts reading the disc as you can see. The second clip I use Jackass as an example, where it starts spinning, you can see the laser very briefly, but it doesn't seem to attempt to move around and read the disc while it spins. At the end of the second clip, it gives up and stops spinning. In the final clip, after waiting for about a minute, the console randomly decides to start reading the disc and running the game.

both discs are clean. i've tested other games that either wont ever read or will eventually read if i wait around long enough. CoD3 is the only one that the console consistently reads when it's inserted. does anybody have an idea of what's going on?

Real ID rejected at DMV appointment because online payment still needed to process? Has anyone else dealt with this?

I spent half of today getting everything set, filed the application for a real id and got the pre-approval. Paid the $46 fee online this morning. I had a DMV appointment for it this afternoon.

When i get to the appt, everything is going fine until they ask me to pay $37. I asked if that's the same fee i paid online, he said yeah and i can get a refund online for it. After i give him cash, he says "I can't continue with the application because it says your payment won't process until midnight. I can't continue, so come back on monday."

This is incredibly frustrating as i drove 2 hours to get the soonest appointment, only for it to be a waste of time. Has anyone else dealt with this? Is there anything i can do besides sulk and wait until monday?

I haven't turned on this TV in over 8 years. I turned it on to test it and there's this clicking noise that can only be heard if the volume is on (as seen in the video) and stays consistent at the same loudness regardless of whether the volume is 1 or 50.

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening or what i can do to fix it? it's not an issue with the VCR, as i've tested that on another TV i have. This was also happening before i hooked anything up to it.
