What is the best tool for generating character concept art in 2026?

I feel like Midjourney used to be pretty good at this, but I resubscribed yesterday and I found it to be... absolute trash. I've had decent success with ChatGPT but it's very slow and cumbersome to use since it's not specialized for this use.

What else is good? I don't mind paying a small subscription.

Art-style wise, I would prefer it to be painterly semi-realism.

Erasable pen for a D&D character sheet? Need to be able to constantly erase/rewrite in the same place on the paper.

I heard about the Frixion line and got excited at first, but then I found out that the ink doesn't actually erase and that if you write in the same place too much the paper becomes difficult to write on.

Are there any other suitable options?

Anyone here use an E Ink device for DnD / TableTop RPGs?

So I have sensory issues and I really really dislike using pencils as well as wet/dry erase markers. I much prefer using pens... but that is not a good idea for a DnD character sheet where you are constantly needing to erase and rewrite things.

I figure an e-ink tablet might be my best bet for this, but I'm not sure which one? If any of you guys are using E Ink for DnD or tabletop RPGs, which one do you use, and are you happy with it?

Looking for fantasy-inspired landscapes to decorate my walls... how the heck do I find legit artists that aren't AI slop?

Given that what I'm looking for is so niche, I highly doubt I'll find it at any local galleries (even non-fantasy landscapes are hard enough to find). I can see there's a lot of stuff on etsy but I need to filter out the AI slop and I'm not sure how.

Any advice?

This subclass seems... really weak. It's cool to be able to take spells from both lists, but given that Sorcerer's learn so few spells already this just doesn't seem like a benefit that could be utilized meaningfully, especially compared to the other Sorcerer subclasses in 5.5e.

For people that have this in 5.5e content, do you do any sort of "patch" you use?

I really loved the Circus arc and the Zadash Arc, with honorable mentions to the swamp and the Menagerie Coast episodes (prior to the pirate stuff). I really did not like the Huberdook stuff, or the slaver/kidnapped stuff, and I was not a big fan of the pirate arc either (though it had some good moments). I'm pretty ambivalent on the current Xhorhas arc so far.

I wonder if I have already hit the high point of C2, or is that yet to come? Love the mystery/investigation stuff, but everything feels a little aimless right now.

EDIT: I mean like... something like the Friends coffee shop. Warm lighting, well-decorated, soft living-room/lounge style seating.

I cannot stand the character sheet UI. The amount of scrolling drives me nuts. I would like an UI that has everything I need on one main page, with tabs that I can drill down further in to.

I thought maybe I could zoom out on the website and get everything to fit onto one screen. But nope! The more you zoom out... it still doesn't make use of the extra horizontal space.

I know there is /r/3d6 but that primarily has to do with the gameplay/mechanics side. I just would like a bit of help in fleshing out/developing a character concept for a DnD campaign.
