Campaign stories related to the Uthgardt barbarians

I've been reading a lot lately about the Uthgardt barbarians, their lore, and other related things, and I love them, so I came here to see if anyone wants to share a story from their tabletop that involves the Uthgardt.

Another Update. The Border Kingdoms.

Here is my update to Mike Schley's Official Faerûn map just showing The Border Kingdoms region. He put out a more detailed map of the Border Kingdoms in 2020. A lot of the info comes from that map and Ed Greenwoods Campaign setting book from the same time. I don't have everything and might add more.

A major change to the region is that I got rid of The Landrise that was in the eastern edge of this map. For some reason on Mike Schley's original Faerûn map he has two Landrise locations. And that drove me nuts, seeing how there is only one, dividing the Shaar in half. Or at least in all the descriptions I can find, there is only one Landrise.

Let me know what you think. Should I add anything else? Any suggestions or things to change. I still need to do some cleanup on the edge of the Shaar. I also added the Neth Peaks and Dragonmount Crag. I am not sure I like how Shantal ended up but I was trying to match the description of the ringed farms. Here is a link to a little higher-res version.

Reading Spine Of The World

I'm about halfway through and I find Meralda's story incredibly boring.

Does it get somewhere? Does she become someone important? Can I just skip her parts? I feel like her entire story so far could be shortened to a single chapter, and even that wouldn't be interesting. This is very different from what I like reading.

Where do you even start with Forgotten Realms?

I've been a DM for a decade now and I've always played fifth edition. Up until this year it was always home brewed in my own world but this summer I started running Icewind Dale Rime of the Frostmaiden and I've really fallen in love with Faerun and the Forgotten Realms. The problem of course being that there aren't really any source books that have been published for FR in 5E. The ones that have been published feel very hollow too. All the information I've been learning about the realms is coming from YouTube and the online wiki.

I'd imagine trying to buy 2E source books is hard and I don't know where to start with 3E books. Are there any books that you would consider invaluable for lore that are still somewhat accessible? I feel like my question is probably too broad because there's a whole trove of places to start but it all seems so daunting.

Editing in Forgotten Realms Wiki

I wanted to add Ketheric Thorm to the category of Shar's chosen, as in wiki itself it is said that he was once her chosen, but he's not listed as such. However, I'm not sure how to add him to the category, and the talk page on the wiki website seems to just be an archive.

Does anyone know how I can edit Ketheric's page so I can add it to the category? Or where I can voice these concerns?
