I recently got my hands on this Walkman.

It has what looks like an official engraving,

but I heard that Sony used to offer an engraving service back in the day—could this have been done through that?

Or is it an officially sold model?

There’s no record of it being sold officially.

Has anyone seen this Walkman before?

There’s a Japanese app called Jimoty,

which is an app for locals to buy and sell things with each other,

but I recently discovered something called Facebook Marketplace.

In Japan, Jimoty is the mainstream app for direct buying and selling,

but for those of you living in Japan, has anyone used Facebook Marketplace?

From my experience using it, most people

just keep repeating automated responses like “Boto,” which makes me wonder if it’s actually run by real people.

I created this post because I’d like to hear from people

who have actually used it.
