Why do so many people people prefer wired headphones?

I mean i grew up with wired headphones and always found them to be really inconvenient since i physically had to carry my phone with me to listen to music

And airpods are a lot more practical and comfortable

The only downsides i can think of is charging and losing a earpiece. But overall wireless is superior. And wireless headphones are the absolute best

So why is there a sudden rise in people preferring wired ones?

"nerds" aren't hated because they are nerds but because they are insufferable people

I am speaking this as someone who technically would be described as a "nerd" based on the kind of person I am. But i never claim that term

Every "nerd" i have ever met is so insufferable. They

Are obnoxious, treat people like shit and if you call out their behaviour they say you are bullying them for being a nerd.

This applies to geeks, weebs, losers and all such communities too

No one hates you cause you like anime. People hate you cause you harass people and fetishise Japanese people to the point where it makes everyone uncomfortable. Walking around wearing hentai shirts and all

This is just a example but you get what i mean.

And not mention the weird gatekeeping culture they have

Seriously i hate that if you like anything( band, movie, show etc) and the fans of that media will call you a larper

Like what the hell. I was initially confused seeing the term everywhere cause larp always meant live action role play

But now it's apparently a synonym for poser

And if you like literally anything the fans of that thing will call you a poser or larper

You see this with video game nerds too who call everyone a poser. Cause they are convinced no one likes them since they play video games.

You are not special if you like games, a certain band or anything of that sort. Get over yourself

The forgrove vip should work in the new event

So basically in the forgrove farm you can get the vip there which i got a long time back

So when the new event came i thought that vip will work here but apparently it doesn't? You need to get another vip for that?

Isn't that ridiculous. The forgrove one is the og vip how can you ask me to get another vip besides that?

The ones who have the og vip should be allowed to get the premium awards. This is ridiculous

You know how disrespectful it is to spend hours on a project just to get accused of it being ai generated by your teachers?

And then i have to prove it's not AI?

Or how when i have a doubt teachers refuse to help telling me to chat gpt it

And the worst thing. Teachers don't even grade our assignments anymore and use ai to do it and the ai always messes it up

You can't write this way or that way and can't use em dashes cause that means it's ai

The ai software our school uses is garbage and teachers are not even grading my work.

I once wrote a paper and it got flagged as ai. I didn't have a rough draft of it either since i don't do drafts and just write it directly. But my teachers didn't believe me

For f sake just cause everybody loves using ai doesn't mean i do. Please stop this nonsense

Seriously we live in such a dumb society that if a CHARACTER is a bad person in whatever movie or show they are the actor gets hate for it. Like do you seriously not know the difference between a character and an actor

And then being like "the actor is responsible for what's in the script" no the actor is not actually. They don't write the script

Seriously how is this a argument is beyond me. Character is rude≠ actor is rude.

For two reasons

1: the way everybody reacted like he has some disease and the episode ends with the "good news" that he doesn't have autism and everybody celebrates

2: the creators ruined his character by adding it.

Farkle was someone who struggled to show his emotions and spent most of his time with academics. We find out it's cause his dad is neglecting him so he had no family who loved him.

But then here they tried to make it seem like he was that way because he is autistic instead of what his father was putting him through. They tried to reduce his personality to "i am autistic"

Obviously someone can face family neglect and also be autistic I am not denying that. But in his case his behaviour that was a result of trauma was temporarily replaced with "he is only this way cause he is autistic"

Then there is his girlfriend smackle who was just his autistic girlfriend and was portrayed as nothing beyond that. The whole idea of him and smackle was that they are the exact same hence they belong together. Eventhough they had no chemistry

And lastly the episode ends with him being celebrated for not being autistic and then it's just never brought up again 😭

Seriously an actor could be phenomenal in their skills but get reduced to their looks

Or a character can be well written and amazing but get dismissed cause they are not attractive

And if shows and movies now pick "ugly" actors for their characters instead of picking actors purely on appearance they get trashed

Seriously calling people old who turned 20? Or who are in their early 20s?

Wdym they are old now? Life is just starting

Seriously it's ridiculous. Like i saw them post about how olivia Rodrigo is "aging so well" when she is only 23

What is the obsession with being "young" like the minute you turn 18 life is over

And the way they treat people who are above 25 or even above 30. Calling them unc and what not

Do they think there is no life beyond the years of school?

I have had people especially teenagers who call me old cause I am 18. Like life is just starting wdym i am old

And when i was a teen i never said anything like this about someone older than me.
