Urgent lenovo official site purchase problem 😭

Has anyone returned a laptop bought directly from the Lenovo website in India?

I accidentally ordered the wrong Lenovo LOQ model and already raised a return request. Lenovo support told me to wait 24 hours for an update. It's been 2 days but I haven't heard back from them

I have already accepted and unboxed the laptop, so I’m worried whether the return will still go through smoothly.I haven’t used it ,I realized the mistake right after opening the product.(Ik I am stupid😭)

Can someone please tell me:

• How long return approval took in your case

• When pickup was initiated

• How long refund processing took

I’m a student and ₹69k is a huge amount for me so I’m really stressed right now. Please help if anyone has gone through this before 🙏

My budget is ₹75,000. I’m considering a LOQ i5 12th Gen 12450HX and RTX 3050 (4GB VRAM), which I’m getting for ₹69K on the Lenovo website including extended warranty. I don’t do gaming and only need it for college-related work. The 6GB variant isn’t available on the Lenovo site,so is the 4GB VRAM version worth buying for the next 4–5 years, or should I look for other options?

Hey everyone,

I'm currently in 2nd semester of engineering and I've recently developed a strong interest in cybersecurity. I'm still at a beginner stage rn focusing on Python and planning to start platforms like TryHackMe soon.

I keep seeing terms like Red Team, Blue Team, SOC, Pentesting, Bug Bounty, etcand honestly it's a bit overwhelming. I don't want to waste my next 6 months doing random things without direction.

I'd really appreciate if someone could break this down in a practical way:

1.What exactly is the difference between Red Team, Blue Team, and SOC roles?

2.As a beginner, which path should I explore first?

3.Is bug bounty a good starting goal, or should I focus on something else first?

  1. What did you do in your first 6-12 months to build a strong base

5.hows the placement on campus and what's the situation of off csmpus

Also, how important are ML and DSA for Cybersecurity or its minimal in use?

My current plan is:

Learning Python

Planning to start TryHackMe

Interested in pentesting (not 100% sure yet)

Should I actively practice DSA and explore alongside cybersecurity, or its use is minimal?

TLDR:

2nd sem student starting Python, exploring cybersecurity. Confused about Red/Blue/SOC roles and what to focus on first. Also unsure how much importance to give to DSA,Ml alongside cybersecurity. Looking for some valuable insights
