Finally Upgraded after 8 years

Could’ve lasted another 5 years if I lowered my expectations xD.

I know a lot of people will say I should’ve gone for something else in this price range with a better processor and higher benchmark scores. And honestly, I used to think the same way.

But I’m kinda done chasing numbers now.

That mindset changed when I used my mom’s CMF Phone for a day. On paper, it’s nothing crazy, pretty average hardware. But in real use, it felt smooth, consistent, and just… reliable.

That made me realize optimization and overall experience matter way more than raw performance. I don’t need the fastest chip if the phone already does everything I need without lag or frustration. Most of what I do daily isn’t pushing limits anyway. This felt like the right balance for me

Nothing OS - just a clean, smooth experience. Everything feels snappy and well-optimized, and the UI actually feels tactile, not just fast, Haptics are good, tight, precise, and satisfying enough that even typing feels better.

It’s not perfect, but it’s easily one of the most polished and consistent Android experiences I’ve used. Honestly, this is what made the phone worth it for me.

What’s your primary & secondary setup?

I have used iPhone 16 pro max & S25 ultra/ Fold 7 setup in past but haven’t able to use samsung devices to their full potential. So this time using top tier & mid range device. (iPhone 17 Pro Max & Nothing 4a Pro)

First time using nothing phone. Love the minimalist design & OS. Feels so premium for the price. Got 12GB RAM & 256GB storage for 38k from Flipkart.

Got an upgrade from pixel 7 to vivo x200t

A few days back I bought a vivo x200t for myself. got it for 50.5k(256gb)from an offline retailer.

probably 600 cheaper from flipkart. i used pixel 7 for last 4 years. its still working fine but had to change it due to poor battery backup. cashify guys told me he will give me 7k for my old pixel 7. which I feel very low. i still can use it as my web cam for my desktop.

for my new phone I was excited for the camera part. its actually good for photography but Ui sucks big time. full of bloatware and few apps I can't even uninstall. overall good phone with great camera. feels like I'm using a premium phone. hoping that it will serve another good 4 years.

Bought VIVO X200T

I bought the vivo x200t a week back after using samsung m33 for 3.5 years. I am loving the origin os and the features, camera and the phone overall. The weight is so balanced, ui is optimised, camera is phenomenal. The heating issue everyone talking about I also faced, but it is already getting resolved with more usage of the phone. I am planning to keep this for 5 years atleast. Let's see what is the future holds for me but to this date I am loving the what the phone provides. If you guys got any questions related to it tell me I will try to answer it.

Is it worth it? From Instamart?

I was waiting for NORD 6, but yesterday after the launch price of 36k (effectively), I don't think it's worth it, my main priorities are cameras, and performance and I don't think it's worth it in even 36k,

I am getting nord 5 under 31k, in Instamart, is it worth it guys?

and is it safe to order from Instamart as well?

Help me guys, I'm so confused......

Hey guys...

I’m looking to buy a new phone soon since my current one is literally dying (display issues getting worse day by day)

First, my requirements

Good battery life

Clean software (very important for me, that’s why I’m leaning towards OnePlus)

Camera is not a priority but should be decent (moderate usage)

Performance I don’t need heavy gaming, just smooth day 2 day usage

In simple terms Allrounder mobile

Budget around ₹30k to ₹40k

I did a lot of research and initially believed Nord 6 would be the best option, but honestly it feels overpriced for what it offers, so now I’m confused.

Now I’m stuck between Going back to op Nord 5 or Getting the op 13r or still considering op Nord 6

Main reason I’m sticking with OnePlus is the software experience.

Also open to other brand phones if there are better options for my needs maybe I’m missing something.

What would you guys suggest based on your experience !?

Thanks!

Oneplus Nord 6 or iQOO 15R?

My Usecase:

I use the camera sparingly and play only efootball, probably going to clone this app as I use two account. Bit confused between Nord 6 at 36k or iQOO 15R at 39k. Been using iQOO 9se (Snapdragon 888) from 3 years. I have seen OnePlus Os is more refined and more customisation compared to Origin Os.

I think it's just a choice of OS.

Neckband Supremacy!!!

Anyone else switch back to neckbands after trying TWS? I’ve tried various TWS options, and none worked reliably enough in the long run.

  1. Portability issues: TWS are easy to lose and feels uncomfortable to use in public spaces due to fear of loosing it.
  2. Battery life: Their batteries degrade much faster than those of neckbands.
  3. Reliability: Even my AirPods 2 stopped connecting consistently after a year, while my CMF neckband has continued to work reliably even with a nearly broken wire. The amount of physical abuse that neckband has endured is impressive.

I can’t always use wired headphones in all situations if I’m ditching TWS, but neckbands feel like the perfect solution, best of both worlds. It seems like a mistake on the consumer side to let them fall out of fashion.

Upgrading from 7-year-old Samsung A50 – Is OnePlus Nord 5 (12GB) a good choice in mid-2026?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using a Samsung Galaxy A50 since May 2019 (almost 7 years now 😅), and it’s finally reaching end-of-life (battery drain + charging issues).

I’m planning to upgrade around June–July 2026. My budget is around ₹30K–₹35K, and I’m looking for a phone that can last me another 4–5 years.

I’m currently considering the OnePlus Nord 5 (12GB RAM variant).

My priorities:

Long-term reliability (I don’t upgrade often)

Smooth daily usage (not a heavy gamer)

Good battery life

Clean/stable UI

Questions:

Is Nord 5 still a good buy in 2026 (1 year after launch)?

Will it hold up well for 4–5 years?

Are there better alternatives in the same price range (₹30K–₹35K)?

Would really appreciate your suggestions 🙏

Nord 6 vs iQOO 15r vs OnePlus 13r

Hi all,

please help me choose a phone between the below:

• Nord 6 - 36,300 (axis bank emi cc discount)

• iQOO 15r - 40k (4k axis bank cc + 1k new user in iQOO app)

• OnePlus 13R - 40,300 (axis bank cc in Amazon)

I'm really confused and unable to make a decision, so I'm looking for real user reviews (if possible)

All-rounder device and longevity is my priority.

If I should pick IQOO, is Origin OS as good as Oxygen OS?

Please pour your opinions in the comments. Thanks much!
