I just have to replace the foam pads on the bottom and get a step down converter and I'm good to go!

It normally dosen't do this, only on a purely white screen.

Model: HP Ergo 1600

Specs: 1997, 1600x1200@75Hz, Canadian market.

Am I cooked?

How does this even happen? My guess is that since these records were made to be put into an automatic record changer, the foam pads on the bottom fell off and it grinded against the hard metal plate. Not sure though. It was cleaned.
