DAE grieve at the end of books?

I had this realisation taking with a friend this week. When I finish a book, it's always like I have to process the loss of someone I knew. I feel so sad and adrift for a little while, but I also love story worlds so I keep returning. Anyone else?

Hey, all. I'm planning to do a dark green peekaboo colour under my natural dark brown/copper-toned hair. It'll be a short bob without fringe which usually works well for me (naturally straight hair.)

I'm wondering what kind of maintenance/upkeep it'll be? I usually only get my hair done twice a year and have about 10 minutes to spend on styling daily (usually just a brush and blow dryer.) Does anyone have experience with a similar cut/colour that they could weigh in with?

I bought my mom a mother's day card 2 months ago.

I made my kids write in it a month ago.

I wrote in it a week ago.

I printed the stamp online today.

Will it make it to the mailbox in time?!

As it says it the title. I'm a little unsure of London etiquette and am trying to get a feel for things.

Both couples either side of me talked throughout the first act. I did shush a couple of times and they kept giving me side eye. One of the men kept checking his phone. Also their body spray kept making me sneeze, which was no one's fault but did bother me. So I spotted an empty seat and at the interval asked the woman next to it whether it was empty (it was.) I enjoyed the second act seated between audiences members who behaved beautifully.

So we can all agree my act 1 neighbours were out of line. But was I? Thanks!
