If our Punjabi ancestors could meet us right now would they be proud?

By ancestors I'm referring to each of his own tribe religion definitely came very late but the ancestors could be of any religion would they be proud just a genuine thought provoking question.

Insta paki panjabi influencer punjabiheer got banned for speaking out against the hatred against punjabis

This was one of the last convos I had with her and the following picture is followed by her spreading awareness to the problem of the mindset of "some individuals". Those who try to speak up are being cancelled now be wary

Lookism brown guys and girls rant

Everyone can have preference but it shouldn't be villified it should go both ways if a brown girl likes a gora or her type is gora it's fine it's her choice but if the same were for the guy why is it villified if he married a gori?. Regardless insta has also put the brown boys to misery with the looksmaxing and blackpill labelling only the white guys as some Chad mogger. Sometimes it makes me think our generation is too far gone for marriage commitment is a strong word how can one expect one to stay loyal when they are scrolling liking commenting on their fav model actor pic just for funnsies. Ah man anyways a rant

The unethical labels in this sub have to stop.

The guy above had a valid point but the guy below well.... Why do so many of us just hate our own ethnicity I can't begin to know why?

The sacrifices Punjab and punjabis made for Pakistan.

This is only true because Punjab was more receptive and more fertile ground for development than any other province..

-(Tribal customs) existed not against the interests of others but in the interests of others (panchaiyats)

-Awarness of education:(punjabis before partition and after partition actively advocated for the establishment of educational institutions i.e : CHAUDHRY KHALIQUZ ZAMAN, FAZL I HUSAIN,DR ABDUS SALAM.

-Martial traditions and culture: itmade it easier to recruit individuals from here (phelwani, gatka, nezabazi)

1 — Geography of islamabad

The land on which Islamabad stands today is mostly part of northern region some of which is potohar plateau

2 — Language policy

Adopting Urdu as official language and abandoning panjabi both as a subject and language in governmental educational institutions.

3 — Agriculture/ economy

The land of five rivers produces majority of the food for the whole nation Punjab is the breadbasket of the nation.

4 — Education quotas

Instead of having seats in educational institutions for the province's kids we have quota for others it'd have been proper if those seats were in excess but no they're aren't in excess.

5 — Partition history

No province of Pakistan was partitioned Punjab was partitioned and we lost half of our soul with it

6 — Contribution vs Return

Punjab had given more and got less

Around 60 percent of the serving standing armed forces comes from Punjab

Around 70 percent of the GDP is contributed by Punjab

Highest number of graduates among the other provinces

Highest number of industries

Widespread infrastructure

Highest number of intaker of migrants inter nation wise.

Highest number of urban centers.

Highest rate of literacy.

Rant about the adult life that's yet to begin

So I had this thing this rush about getting my life in order so 20s could be a great success story so far I've managed to get from skinny to fit, get in therapy, build social connections, read constructive self help books. Got my looks in order. Got my main subject grades improved studying vigorously. Journal every other day but I feel like I'm reaching nowhere and this progress ain't making me any Happy. I'm also confused about several life decisions which subjects to go for in uni to study here or abroad. For some reason I've lost interest in the other gender too idk how it happened but at the gist of it, it seems like as long as somewhere you can belong and share your values with respect no need to get married ig.
