I got this as a replacement for the 1st cono I ordered. My questions.

Is the lighter color on top indicative of anything bad? Rot? No light? IDK.

I’m admittedly unfamiliar with them atm. It doesn’t feel overly squishy or soft. No, I have not been squeezing it unnecessarily 😆.

I’m just unsure if I should send it back or wait it out. Thank you🙂

I’m not over the moon with their condition. Nothing dead, but more mechanical damage than I like to see. I always expect some. But very healthy and overall I’m pleased with what I paid so win. All in new soil if not a new pot.

Hi! I’m working on an arrangement called Teddy Bear’s Picnic. I would love any other suggestions for succulents that fit with this storybook theme. All of the plants have a connection to it. Things either fairytale or picnic. Thank you.

They just came today from Mountain Crest Gardens. They were packed very well. I’m not over the moon but for young plants I’m super pleased. This wasn’t a group box. I ordered each individually. Only disappointment is the misc. unknown succulent is one I already have. No biggie.

What cactus caught your eye first. The one that made you realise you really liked cacti.

Mine is my optuntia microdasys Montrose.

I’m a girl who doesn’t do cacti. It’s a long story 🌵🤕. But now I have my 3 shelves🙄.

I’ve been reading this sub and am looking forward to, with the help of the folks here, of expanding my collection. I definitely need more terra cotta pots.

I hope everyone had a good weekend.

It came today. Not a single spike out of place. If anyone else has one I’d love to see it.
