I started a fairy garden this year (I’m so excited!)! Does this look ok? What could I do to make it better?
Note: this is my first post ever so please be kind with feedback :)
Hi! I’m new to fairy gardens and want to make one for my daughter! I’d like it to be outside and might want it in a big planting pot. What kind of things can I fill it with? I have fake moss, but if I were to keep it outside, can that stuff get wet?
I also saw some ideas about styrofoam for filling and then the last few inches using little rocks. Would that be ok for being outside and getting rained on? Idk if styrofoam can get wet over and over again, I’m inexperienced. Thanks!
Our fairy garden is in a high foot traffic area and has grown to this. We made some major improvements this month.
All the fairies at the garden centers are plastic - where do you source the highest quality fairies?
I don’t know what to do with this. Don’t know if I should keep things the way they are or if I should rearrange the plants. Please give me some feedback and ideas thanks.
I got this pot for miniatures at Michaels. I have little miniature figures to put in the compartments and I was gonna use a store-bought moss for the exposed parts. I'm not trying to grow anything, it's going to sit on my porch but it's not meant to be 'alive' lol. So...what do I use to fill the pot up? Like can I just fill it with garden soil then top it with the moss/figures? Does the type of soil matter? Should I use something besides soil? Help lol.
everything I’ve been creating lately feels like it belongs somewhere covered in moss and flowers
hey everyone, I make succulent gardens, terraiums and fun little plant things. I just recently started selling these alongside my gardening business called Kodama's Keep. A few people have inquired about prices and I'm posting to say that I've added some things to my extremely new Etsy shop and I'll slowly try to add more items! These are some example photos of things I make. I also make carnivorous terrariums (last photo) is a small example, not a great photo. 🙃Anyways, if anyone would like to follow my Etsy shop or Facebook page even just to show support, I'd greatly appreciate you helping a new, small business. ❤️
