Reddit is one of the last social media platforms I still use for asking questions about my hobbies or reading about topics I like. I really want to get rid of it, but it’s hard because it has something about everything, and if I have a problem with something, I can probably find a solution from here.

Nowadays, many forums require an account just to view content or even a subscription. I also have to spend a lot of time figuring out whether a book or magazine is actually something I want to read, and then I still have to find a way to get it. Matrix channels and similar communities are pretty much dead since barely anyone uses them anymore. Discord is somewhat okay, but f that too.

What I do? I want to stop using reddit, but I can’t.

So, I’m trying to fix my old bike, and while I was trying to remove the fork and handlebar, I kind of stripped the nut a little. The fork threads has got stripped, and I had to use a lot of force to get it out. Is there any place where I can order new one? The bike is from around 2005–2015, but not really sure.

Hello, I want to build Win XP era PC, and already got some components like PSU, RAM, CPU 8500e and GPUs two GTX 8800 and some other parts. I still need case and motherboard. Looking for ATX case with sideview, and possibly 3 or more 5,25 bays but 2 is enough for cd-rom and soundcard interface. And also ATX motherboard for LGA775 8500e and SLI support for two 8800 gtx's.

For fans and cpu cooler i might go for old noctua products but recommends for those also be heard : )

Hello, I'm trying flash dg16d2s (0251 firmware) drive with 0800 firmware so I could use it with pc. I have xecuter x360usb pro v1, xecuter ck3 lite and xecuter probe v1 and windows 7 pc. I cant get it into intro device mode or dump keys with probing.

Jtag4Fun says that it is no longer possible to use probe v1 (without the button) to flash drives so I have to get probe v3 somewhere? What COM cable even do, video guides not even mention it.

I don't have com ports with this PC so I would have to install XP or 7 on older thinkpad that has COM port and somehow I have to make cable for the probe with button, so I'm asking is those nessessary?

Hello! I want to make some custom neon LED strips for my case. Previously, I used Phanteks, but they are quite expensive and don’t come in the lengths I need. I have only been able to find white ones on AliExpress, but they seem to be just tubes without LEDs.

I bought an IKEA EKBACKEN countertop that won’t stay attached to table legs, and I can’t screw anything else into it either. Now the underside of the table has torn in several places. How can I fix this? Should I put some kind of wooden board underneath it?
