Has anyone actually been moved onto the new NDIS funding periods yet?
My plan manager mentioned my funding could end up being released in smaller chunks instead of the full amount upfront, and honestly it’s stressing me out a bit. I get why they’re doing it, but I’m worried about what happens if something unexpected comes up near the end of a funding period and there’s barely anything left until the next one starts.
Has anyone here already been switched over to it? How has it actually worked in practice?
With Curnow out, who actually comes in to partner Rosas up forward? I’m hoping we see a bit more of the youth depth, but Marvel Stadium can be a trap if you take your foot off the gas against a bottom-ten side
One of the best bits of advice I got from another parent was to never just accept a verbal no from a planner. They told me to ask which part of the NDIS Act they’re actually referring to. Apparently it changes the conversation pretty quickly because they have to explain the decision properly instead of giving a vague policy answer
Anyone else having their phone randomly drop to SOS only around North Sydney lately? Mine’s been doing it since a carrier settings update, restart fixes it for a bit then it drops out again not long after, coverage here is usually solid so it’s doing my head in, not sure if it’s the network or something stuffed with the update or sim or what’s going on
Injury update says 1-2 weeks but with how cautious we’ve been lately I wouldn’t be surprised if they give him another fortnight. Anyone heard anything more concrete?
My LAC told me I can still get support for secondary conditions without a formal diagnosis, but the planning delegate said it has to be officially diagnosed or it won’t be funded. Getting completely different answers depending on who I talk to. Has anyone dealt with this and knows what the actual rule is?
I’ve used my Amex at the same Bunnings for three years and today it suddenly came up as card type not supported, is this just a one off or are more merchants starting to push back against the higher earn rate cards?
I’ve been offered a new role with better pay and a better title, but I’m only 14 months into a 5 year lease on a Model 3 and every time I bring up changing jobs here people act like it’s going to completely blow everything up financially, am I overthinking it or is moving mid lease actually that risky?
I’m here until next Friday and I’ve already got the Sea Cliff Bridge on my radar. Aside from the obvious coastal drive, what are the local spots I should hit while I have a full week to explore? I’m looking for the best mix of nature, food, and maybe a few hidden gems that tourists usually miss
It’s been a pretty rough stretch for the Aussie market lately- feels like every day it’s slipping a bit more, and now oil jumping again has everyone stressing about rate hikes coming back into play. What’s weird is it’s still technically up for April, but compared to a couple weeks ago it definitely doesn’t feel like it. Even Woolworths copped a hit, which is surprising considering their sales were actually solid- just shows how much rising costs are starting to bite. At the same time, tech’s kind of doing its own thing and holding up thanks to the US, so the whole market feels a bit all over the place. Honestly, it feels like everything’s riding on what the RBA does next week could go either way from here.
Something you hear often that’s just not true or oversimplified.
