I'm unable to receive international wires... Sender in South Korea says I need a 9 digit number (bank code, region, branch codes).

So, I'm trying to get a foreign wire transfer and I gave them the info on Schwab's web site, but the account number is 8 digits, the South Korean bank says it needs 9 digits.

Anyone have experience with this?

Synology Active Backup for 365 saved us in our migration from M365 to Google Workspace

We are transitioning from M365 to Google Workspace, and one thing that Microsoft makes incredibly difficult, is transferring M365 exchange groups. These groups show up in Outlook, and have message stores, but they are NOT mailboxes, and the messages cannot simply be copied to a PST for export.

We tried all manner of exporting these messages to get around this limitation, even "creating" .pst files by using Microsoft Purview to search for messages in the message store, and exporting them to .pst. Every thing we did had limitations and missed messages.

I finally remembered we had our M365 tenant backed up to Synology via Active Backup.... so I went into the backups, and was able to go into the backups for each group, and export the entire mailbox for that message store, into a .PST!

I was able to then, use the GWMMO (Google Workspace Migration for Microsoft Outlook) to transfer the contents of that user, into a Google user, we called "archive."

I would have saved about 3 days worth of work if I realized this path earlier. Quick and easy once the penny dropped.

Problems with G Hub and Brio Webcam forgetting Field of View + Zoom in calls

I have G Hub installed, but the camera keeps losing the Field of View setting and Zoom --- in the middle of calls - revealing my messy office. It's infuriating.

Any way to fix this?

Edit: I see a post from 5 YEARS AGO!?!? on this same exact issue?

C'mon Logitech. FIX THIS!

I'm beyond incensed at this.

One month ago we were informed our bank info was exposed and the bank wanted us to change our account numbers. We changed this in QuickBooks online bill pay but somehow bills continued to be paid by the old account. Numerous tries even QuickBooks was confused.

Multiple payments failed and were returned in this process. Let me be clear, QuickBooks bill pay was at fault for this.

Fast forward to this week, we were contacted by QuickBooks that we had to provide

1 proof of our nonprofit status "with my name on the IRS determination letter"... (That's not how determination letters work)

2 proof that I work for the nonprofit - with a separate request outlining 'proof of the products and services' I provide to the nonprofit, as the executive director.

3 proof that our bookkeeper actually works for the nonprofit, with a separate request outlining 'proof of the products and services' she provides to the non-profit.

4 proof of our "nonprofit's products and services”

5 links to our social media and online websites

6 copies of our marketing materials explaining what we do and how we do it

7 evidence that our expenses are legitimate expenses (we have low expenses, mainly travel)

8 other documents

I guess QuickBooks was concerned with fraud but this was absolutely an overreaction on their part, especially given they created the original problem when the banking accounts wouldn't change how they were paying bills.

The about of documentation they required of us. Including proof of products and services, demanding to see social media and everything else is just absurd.

This is an extreme overreach. We should never have to justify our nonprofit, it myself, to QuickBooks.
