Where stolen items are sold? Pawn shops? Online Marketplaces? Offline?

Left my kindle on the train. Unfortunately it was never returned. No luck neither on SBB lost&found nor on Fundbüro. Didn't showup on FB or Ricardo marketplaces either.

Plus I have reported it as lost on Amazon, so kindle should be unusable in theory. However it did connect to wifi after I've lost it, so someone did find it.

Wondering where someone would try selling it. Zürich/Glarus/St Gallen/Argau areas (train had quite a journey).

Opinion: it’s nice to live in Switzerland because more people tend to live below their means rather than above them.

Switzerland was just a stop for a few years, but now I dread a thought of having to leave. I could not understand why, until one time it hit me. I like living in Switzerland because people here aim (I think) to live below their means and enjoy simple pleasures such as walks in the nature. There is a lot less show-off culture. Or maybe I just don't see it..

I am coming from one of the eastern block countries that had one of the biggest economical growths in the last 10 years. People's average income at least trippled in the last 20 years. Most people try to outlive their means - luxury clothing, cars, housing, holidays, going out. In myself like living below my means and feel more at home here.

I wonder if you feel the same.
