Crunchy pediatricians in Raleigh, North Carolina?

I live in Raleigh, and have noticed that the majority of the pediatricians here will not even take your child if they are not fully up-to-date on their shots, I did look at the Dr. Green mom list and the only one that I saw on the list was further away, so I’m trying to see if anyone else has recommendations for pediatricians that are vaccine choice friendly

Treating cold in toddler who seems to get sick every few months

hi guys!my 16mo has a cold that I’m assuming she picked up from church because that’s the only place shes around kids.Im in my second trimester and have been having some sinus issues as well. She is fully weaned so breastfeeding is no longer a part of helping the cold and I’ve noticed that even with a generally healthy diet and lots of sunshine she still gets sick every few months and stays sick for over a week.I need to get better at treating these cold and preventing them now that she’s older especially because I am due in October right before cold and flue season. How can I treat this besides the normal steam showe, saline, booger sucker and honey with onion and garlic?and what else can I do to help out her immune system?

Need help getting 16mo to sleep independently before I give birth

I am due in October and have coslept with my 16mo since she was 3mo.She gets most naps by herself and a short stretch at bedtime by hersel. The problem is that when she comes to bed we me at 10pm she absolutely has to be touching the front of my body and almost always ends up with her head on my arm. This is a new development to her sleep and i dont know why because she was previously starting to want to have more space to herself and was sleeping in the middle of the bed perfectly fine without needing to touch me.She won’t cuddle dad after months of trying to get her to and because he wakes up early for work I won’t really be able to have her sleep with him in the separate room when the baby is here. She rolls around in her sleep a lot too and I’m afraid that she will unintentionally try to roll over me and land on the baby. She will be 22mo when the baby is born (unless this one is early like she was)so I’m wondering if it’s appropriate now to gently help her into her own bed without CIO

Need help Encouraging toddler to sleep on their own before baby comes in October

I have a 16mo and am due in October with our secon.weve coslept since 3mo,fully weaned and overall have a decent sleeper.the main problems are 1.she refuses to sleep with dad after many months of trying and 2.she is a very active and clingy sleeper. For awhile she was okay with sleeping to my back in the middle of the bed but has started whining and rolling over me to wrap herself around the front of my body or lay on my shoulder, she rolls around in her sleep a lot at night and I don’t want her trying to roll over me and onto the baby.I would tfy to get my husband to sleep in the other room with her for a little while but he gets up early for work so she’d be by herself again and tends to not go back to sleep very well if she wakes up around then. She naps by herself for the most part and gets a stretch by herself in her room but I want to gently encourage independent sleep, she also sleeps with a baby doll that she’s very attached to as of recently.

Cosleeping with two year old and newborn?

I am due in October and my first will almost be two,she gets a few hours at night by herself and some naps(she usually wakes up mid nap and falls back asleep on me),we have a king size bed and I plan on doing a side car crib, the only problem is that my 16mo is super clingy right now and my husb has spent several months trying to get her to sleep closer to him ag night butshe immediately starts crying and starts crawling to me,she also moves around in her sleep and tries to climb over me in her sleep.Im not sure how to help her get more used to sleeping without having to touch me especially because my husband is up early for work so she can’t just sleep in another room with him for a bit.I don’t want to use CIO but I also don’t know if I should do any kind of gentle sleep training to maybe get her to sleep more independantly?I know this is scattered I’m just trying to figure out what I actually need to do because she sleeps through the night with us and I love sleeping with her but I don’t know if I should encourage her to sleep by herself

I am 16 weeks pregnant and am high risk due to unexplained preterm labor with my firs.My OB just said to continue doing what I’m used to and scale back if I geel uncomfortable. The problem is that I had just started getting back jnto consistent weight lifting at home 13 months post partum when I got pregnant again and have had morning sickness this whole time.It finally started to let up a month ago but when I started weight lifting again (only 30lbs lower sometimes 10 or even 15lbs)I started feeling cervical pain and was told to stop lifting entirely and just walk or drastically reduce weight.I stopped with the weights and am trying to just do Pilates to get some movement in at home but I can tell that relaxin is already setting in and my pelvi just doesn’t feel good even after only doing 15 minutes of work. it really sucks because I was more fit before I had my first and I think it really helped with my recovery after labor and I ended up losing most of my muscle mass because I was breast-feeding and I didn’t really have a village on top of my working long working out was just hard. I don’t expect to be able to heavily work out like I used to and lift heavy this time around, but I’m just really frustrated because I want to have some sort of strength by the time I give birth in October and just want to have a better Recovery

we started lazy ec (cloth and disposable diapers along with the pott)at 9mo and it was going great until we moved when my toddler was 13mo.She suddenly stopped going in her potty and started started only goinf in diaper. Now at 16mo she sometimes pees in her potty, almosy never poops in her potty, but instead signs potty after she has already gone. She is very aware when she has gone and tell me almost every time but rarely signals any earlier.Ive decided to try the three day potty training method to at least get her back on track.Has anyone had success this early with it?
