Been happy at 1 guard for about a year. Going to try.5 today after seeing how far back the recession has gone. Thoughts appreciated. If you do a .5 would love to see your results
I have the 22 Outback, she has the 22 Forrester Wildness.
I have more space, especially the backseat for the kids and the trunk for little league gear. Mine is stable and low.
Hers rides slightly higher, feels thinner— and drives a bit more fun and ping pongy.
I prefer her smaller infotainment system. Not really a fan of the big screen and keep it turned low in mine.
But for our needs its a perfect pairing.
I'm down about 25 pounds, and have seen improvements in BP, sleep apnea, skin, you name it. I want to really lock into the measurements and metrics. I'm adding an Apple Watch, smart scale... anything else folks like? The last 7 pounds have been elusive to my goal of getting under BMI 25. I'm hoping automating the measurements will help me track and see if its time to titrate up. SW 218 CW 195 GW 188 at 6'1" and 44 year old male. Current dose 5.4mg
I track my ResMed data already. I've lost 25 pounds, and have improved my BP. Do you all find tracking with an Apple watch worth it?
I'm a single dad of 3 sons-- 8, 12 and 14. They are digging the smashburgers, but I am looking for other easy recipes for my 28" that they will eat. Steak is probably next. And bacon and eggs is a no brainer. But looking for more creative dinner solutions. 8 year old is picky. 14 year old likes everything plain.
We grew up on processed foods, fast food, beer ads, food as the focus of family gatherings and holidays and events. It's almost as if addressing obesity has benefits for every single aspect of health.
Is the storytelling and banter between songs improvised? There was a whole yarn last night about an underwater world in Atlanta’s Lake Allatoona….
I had a rapid drop when I started, but am where I was a month ago now. There have been NSVs: sleep apnea improving, skin improving, GI track improving. No food noise, no desire to overdo it with booze. But I would really like to get under 25 BMI. at 6'1" that's under 189lbs. 11 away to goal.
Ita been about 3 weeks since I’ve lost any weight

Im so much happier and healthier. I used to have really awful IBS. A little TMI, but hemorrhoids are gone, bowel movements are less frequent and less painful, less upset stomach, never more than two drinks now which used to be a control issue for me, skin much better— I used to have what I thought were permanent rashes and they cleared up. Leas compulsive and impulsive. My sleep apnea is marketed improved. First 100 score on my CPAP machine last night.
Happier.
I sort of think I need this stuff and plan to be on it a long time. I’m going to hold at this maintenance dose for a while.
Divorced 2 years with three kids. Oldest snd his mother have a fractured relationship. She tells him he is mentally ill. Has tried to have him put in a mental hospital, calls the cops on him frequently in arguments over things like curfews and screen-time. Ludicrous. He is a sweet kid. 14 now.
I was awarded 80% custody of him due to some of the more wild accusations she has made about him and my son signing an affidavit of election. Other boys are still 50/50.
That order is now signed. But last night she kicked him out, called me screaming at midnight and told me to come get him. Told him to his face that he is “not welcome in the home.” And she says she feels “unsafe.” Does not want him back.
I recorded the conversation. She is swearing and sounds unhinged. I sent to their reunification therapist and separately to my lawyer.
Do I sue her for full custody? Or let it lie and just let him stay with me? I am concerned the pattern will repeat again with the other boys when they are older
200.0 this morning…..
I was on the scale and literally tried to exhale to shave off a tenth of a pound. Look, Im not a scientist ok, I thought it might work…. So damn close…
Down from 218
Starting dose 3mg
Current dose 5mg
5 weeks in
Goal 190
Height 6’1”
44M, about to turn 45.... Started 5 weeks ago at 218lbs. Hit 200lb today. Top dose 5mg. I'm 6'1", so BMI is still in the overweight zone at 26, but I'm getting there. Haven't had more than a pint of beer in one sitting during the whole experiment, which is huge for me. I physically see the difference and feel better in my body and in how my clothes fit. I've had zero nausea, and food never lost it's flavor. Been very lucky so far. Aiming for consistently in OnederLand for my birthday in early May.
