Cant decide on a color!

Cant decide on a color!

My first try was the first one but It sorta washed her hair color out so I figured maybe I should change the jacket. I messed out around with the gradients and I like 2nd 3rd and 4th best.

[hiring] looking for an artist that can help me roughly redesign my oc Xander!

I have a budget of 50-80 dollars. Ive never commisioned art so Im not sure about the average price so please be honest of your prices so I can adjust my budget!
Anyways, ive been struggling finding a good design for my oc Xander but I cant seem to find a good fit. I believe he deserves better xD. I am hoping for an artist to help me create a new design and maybe give me small tips on design! I prefer an anime style.

Im just simply wondering, I grew up with people saying "oh I guess that food didnt land well on my stomach" implying that the food wasnt bad or gone bad and that their stomach randomly just decided to get sick from it. For example, if 6 people eat from one pizza box but one person gets sick but nobody else does, does it actually mean the pizza randomly just didn't sit well? Im just now wondering that because yesterday my mom and I drank from the same frappe and she got super sick and I felt totally normal. I didn't even know she was sick until I got home later. I wasnt even worried or scared I was just confused on why she got sick and I didnt lmao. Maybe it wasn't actually the frappe?

Im trying to see something. I was coloring some art and I realized that if theres a difference between painting shadows first or painting the lighting when drawing art that has dynamic lightning. Im not sure if I make myself clear. I tend to paint the lighting rather than painting the shadows. Though if the environment is super bright, thats when I paint the shadows. I hope I am making sense xD I just wanna know if its a preference thing or something I need to work on
