He's my most recent undertaking of character design in a WHILE and I do like him but I fear he's either too cluttered (too many colours + detailing) or his character just isn't easily decipherable. So I'm looking for any constructive critism on his design + opinions on his character so I can see how he reads. Thanks!

not really made because i think the originals are bad by any measure, i just really like the franchise and like making my own takes on it. do the two of them look fairly coherent? want luna to look a little less "powerful" so shes a little bit less decked out

I'm going for a 80s fierce inspired look if that makes sense, she's supposed to be an "untrustworthy edgy rebel accomplice" who challenges the main protagonists, a frenemy almost.

the world she's in is a post apocalyptic one ruled by different factions.(not very unique I know lol)

also thoughts and critiques on the design so I can communicate her character better.

If not, I’d love to hear what I can do! Also you can probably ignore the fish eagle thing, it’s magic system stuff lol

Hello! I'm writing this comic for a university project and my main character is black. I made her character design and, since I'm not a poc, I was wondering if someone who is could give me an opinion about her, since I don't want to fall into stereotypes unintentionally.

Before looking, I want to point out some things: she's not covered because the story takes place at the beach, and I'm a cisgender afab (assigned female at birth) who despises wearing bras at the beach, so I didn't give her one. Although I do recognise that the extremely promiscuous black woman is a very dangerous stereotype, I personally do not see my choice of not covering her chest as something sexual, but you know, I'm white and I want to know if I could operate better... let me know :)!🩷

I've been working on some NPC designs and wanted to share this Enchanter character.

My main goal was to give her an ancient, deeply knowledgeable, and slightly mysterious presence. To achieve this, I used deep purple tones, a glowing spellbook for that magical focal point, and cluttered bookshelves in the background to show a lifetime of study.

I'm trying to make sure she looks approachable but also clearly powerful in the magical arts. Do you think the color palette and her expression convey that well? I would really appreciate any critique or feedback on her overall design
